I'm having to be patient this evening: my slow-cooked beef & veg stew with caraway dumplings should be ready around 18:30hrs
I have added a good bit of freshly grated nutmeg and a bit of chilli powder to give a little kick. It smells delicious!
I may add a generous couple of glugs of red screwtop near the end of cooking time.
I shall be serving up with mash & fine green beans.
