Hi All,

My 15 year old nephew has become impressed with stories of riches if he signs up for what appears to be an online lecture service for methods of earning money online.

I have vaguely heard of Andrew Tate through a number of controversies that were in the news a while back. I think there was a thread running on here.

I've looked at the website for The Real World and it is clearly being marketed towards impressionable boys.

He's asked for my help to pay for the course (with his savings) using my credit card. He thinks he will make the money back in no time. I'm going to say no, but I don't want to seem like I'm dismissing it out of hand. Does anyone have any experience or information concerning this, or with Hustlers University, which seems to be pretty much the same thing?

Point him towards this thread...

Then remind him of the old adage about looking around the room and if you're unable spot the person that's being played for a mug then you're the mug!

If that vile misogynist douche canoe is doing something, doing the opposite is probably the right thing to do.

If you pay for that course, you could be exposing him (an impressionable teenager) to misogynist and extremist views beyond the normal political spectrum, when he probably doesn’t have the capacity to think properly for himself yet.

Tate is involved in a ongoing investigation for rape, sexual assault and human trafficking and has been banned from several platforms for hate speech.

He’s sadly made a fortune spreading these vile tropes to children, he picked up a new Bugatti Chiron Pur Sport thanks to the millions he has made from Hustlers University, which just tells you all you need to know really (that he’s a cock taking advantage of kids and stupid people)

See above poster’s thread about “cheap fireworks in Manchester”

I wouldn't pay for any sort of course, but I've looked into what he has to say, I agree with the majority of what he says.

I presume he is asking you because his parents have said no fking way?

And in which case, you should not undermine their parenting

That’s quite bizarre and concerning then isn’t it.

How anyone reads that and thinks he’s anything other than a prick I don’t know.

I listened to Tate on the James English pod he has an interesting story for sure. He's one of those people that's a really confusing mix of totally refreshing Un PC says it just as it is and is right and an utter moron with very extreme points of view. Overall you would not want your daughter to bring him home.

These"hussles" and the selling of shortcuts in life I would lump in with gambling as two priorities for me to guard my kids against. Both things that are rammed down kids throats. I'm all for teaching kids there are alternatives to University and the 9 to 5 but no such thing as a short cut. Always amazes me how these forex/property Samuel Leeds type scams how they are not just taken down from these platforms.

Absolutely agree. Way to much of it out there & too many kids who think they will just get rich without doing anything,

You’ll have to drag them out of the Whetherspoons thread first.

Awkward. It smells like a Ponzi scheme, with quite expensive payments. I would point that out first, and explain how they work if he doesn't understand them. Have you asked him if he asked his Dad to do this, and what his Dad said? Have you spoken to his Dad about it?

I find the phenomenon around Andrew Tate very interesting, and I do agree with a lot of what he says, I think he is mis portrayed in the media (and other social media) a lot by people who have their own agenda, not to say I agree with everything he comes out with either.

The whole Hustler's university and Real World he's marketing does feel like the main beneficiary of it all is going to be Andrew Tate, he's going to make an awful lot of money out of it, that's business, I guess. I think from my understanding the basis behind it will be showing people some methods they can use to make some money online through Copywriting and other services but then the money made should be invested into other areas (eg Crypto) to make more money, ultimately 90% of people who sign up will likely not see it through and will drop it but Tate won't care because he will have made his money off their subscriptions.

Interestingly though he claims "The Real World is part of a three-stage plan, Hustlers University was Stage 1, The Real World is Stage 2 so he apparently has something more planned, i'm interested to see how it plays out

What qualifies Andrew Tate to give advice on anything other than kickboxing, and why should people pay for said advice?

Ironically he does have some business pedigree believe it or not but I don't think he's teaching how he got there he's peddling fresh air.

This always comes to mind with these kinds of scam

There's a thread on the man here.

Some very interesting views on women and by "interesting" I mean repellent.

If he’s got an expensive motor, then I’d better sign up! Didn’t realise you could put your car on your CV.

I knew someone who is now in prison for murder. I always thought he was quite nice until then. My experience is therefore that lots of good stuff can be outweighed by one bad thing.
