Tea without cold milk poured into it would cool quicker vs. where cold milk is added immediately.
We add milk to the cup first because porcelain cups used to be incredibly expensive, putting milk in first reduces the chance of the cup cracking.

We once booted a well known British supermodel off our yacht as she refused to take off her heels and was making holes in the teak. She wasn't happy about it, flounced off and the celeb rags later reported a fall out between her and the charter principal.
Not used to going on yachts. Council.

That's amazing. That's not just 'skateboard wheels', but a full skate truck/bushings/wheels setup!

It is an amazing fact.

Its odd they went for the full truck setup though as that means on uneven ground the wheels would give and allow the front to scrape. I suppose there could be end stops to just alow a small bit of articulation.

Always some great ones from Paul Sinha's Perfect Pub Quiz on Radio 4:

Last week - the three biggest distillers of whisky are all in India.
This week -
(1) Michael Crichton (Andromeda Strain, E.R, Jurassic Park and much more) was 6'9" tall.
(2) The word "labradoodle" was coined by land and water speed record-holder Sir Malcolm Campbell.

Isn't it so you can steer the car by leaning sideways?

No, but I know many boys are circumcised within a few days of their birth.

“The life of pablo Picasso “

I read his Wikipedia entry after seeing something on social media saying

“Picssso died in the 1970’s. I thought he was much older history than that.”

Admittedly so did I!

One fact I found shocking
During war the bronze casting outlawed by occupying forces, resistance smuggled him bronze to make sculptures…..

He also had a very complicated life with a number of those around him doing away with themselves….

It’s an interesting read

TBH I walked out of the hospital - it's not particularly pleasant but certainly doable. 'Morning glory' on the other hand was a whole lot less pleasant... as were the salt baths and a ruptured stitch (only knew about that when i got a warm, wet foot standing there yacking on the phone!! eek )
