I liked that Terry wasn't flash and showy, snooker is a serious game and if a shot required some thought he took his time to consider his options.
For what seemed like several hours, sometimes.
I saw him in a demonstration game V Dennis Taylor, very many years ago... he definately had a very dry humour and was definately self aware and able to take the pee out of himself with Dennis' help of course........RIP Terry

It doesn't tie up. I think he's missed the pop-tart off the list.

a couple of months late but have we had: Nicholas Pryor? "Who he?" I hear you ask - you'll recognise the face from (possibly) his most PH-worthy film...

Oh no. That makes all four of the primary characters gone now.

Cherry Hill 93.

There will be many on here who have never heard of her, but she was one of the best builders of models in the Hobby of Model Engineering

Everything was built from scratch, and a lot of her models are on show at the Inst Mech Electrical Engineers in Birdcage walk. Free to visit just ask at reception

If still unsure just google her A genius with the lathe and while great builder of the past like Dr Beadbury-Winters built around 1900 a scale model of an LBSC 0-4-2 Como ( now at brighton Museum) Fred Beards GWR 'Lord of the Isles; 4-2-2m and Bill Carters GNR Atlantic, along with Kieth Wilson of the modern era..built one or two excellent to the nth degree, she turned out models of long forgotten early farming eqpt, with little more than pictures to work to.

Thank you: the epitome of a "Noteworthy" person. I'd never heard of her, which doesn't matter, what a fabulous life & legacy.

Malcolm smith died a couple of weeks ago, maybe not a huge name to many especially in the uk, but he was an off road motorcycle racing legend. Multiple time winner of the then isdt six day trial, the Baja 500, and one of the stars of the brilliant 1971 film “on any Sunday” with Steve McQueen . If you haven’t seen it, I strongly recommend it.
