Daughter can't sleep?
She looks at least 40. Must really like Christmas trees.

Christmas movie???
Die Hard.
Oh I know what movie it is, I'm questioning the idea it's a Christmas movie. smile
It is set on Christmas Eve so is a Christmas movie. See also Lethal Weapon.
Die Hard is definitely a Christmas film. Die Hard 2, although also set around Christmas is arguably not a Christmas film as the Christmas theme is far less prevalent and no one says Ho Ho Ho.

Mother blasts 'disgusting' ex-partner after he hired a prostitute for their 13-year-old son and called the child a 'p***y' for refusing to have sex with the woman or take cocaine

Both illegal and council in experience, this must be a new record.
My friend is a Greek from Greece about 50 years old

He said back in the day when you were 14 or 15 your dad or uncle or brother (I forget) takes you to a brothel and you have a go - you become a man

Probably different these days - seems a bit creepy but might be viewed differently based on culture / age of consent.
Better that than having a 15 year old girls father turn up demanding how come he's going to be a grandfather and wanting a wedding.

Categorical proof that it's a Christmas film is you can buy a Die Hard advent calendar. It's a wooden nakatomi plaza with a falling hans Gruber with a floor for each day.

Saying "movie" instead of film.
Council.
Movie, short for "moving picture". Old school, not council.
