More to the point what the heck is happening at the bottom couple of treads on the “staircase of death” it looks from the picture like it turns into a ramp???


Ah st no I’ve figured it out now, it’s a quarter turn at the bottom. That is absolutely class I hope it’s toughened glass in that window at the bottom of the stairs, your going straight through that when you finally loose your footing.

Buggered if I can see what's going on at the bottom of the stairs, looks like a double height step. Looks like a Bob the B fked up the order from Stairbox and convinced the customer it looked unbelievably cool so got away with it. I wonder if the place could be sold or rented with a half finished stairs. At least it has style, admittedly "council", better than the bland Homes Under the Hammer council fodder or, dare I say it Grand Designs. Exposed concrete; council.
