More to the point what the heck is happening at the bottom couple of treads on the “staircase of death” it looks from the picture like it turns into a ramp???

Ah st no I’ve figured it out now, it’s a quarter turn at the bottom. That is absolutely class laugh I hope it’s toughened glass in that window at the bottom of the stairs, your going straight through that when you finally loose your footing.

It raises so many questions; a turn into a doorway can't be right? Where were the stairs originally? What else has Bob the (not a) Builder been up to?

However, Dry Robes or the other brands. Jeezo. Why ...
We have them, kept in the back of the car along with our water gear incase of an impromptu beach visit but to kids football ?
Well, if you already had a DryRobe (I don't, FWIW), and decided you needed something to keep you warm on the touchline, would you go out and spend good money on another coat just because...why, again?

Did Bob dig his own basement for that bar? If so, how long has it got before the house joins it?

I had that colour carpet in the movie room in my previous home, in an homage to the 'red carpet' Oscars phrase. Just the 8 speakers in there.....

I know, movie room, lots of speakers, and using the word 'homage', council!

Edit - no death stairs though
Shag pile?

Has large, unfeasibly long puffer [ puffa ?, poufe ? ] coats been mentioned ?

See them all the time.

Loads of mums wear these on the school run at this time of year, very sensible to keep warm.

Only council if teamed with a pair of skanky pyjamas underneath and/or a pair of (probably fake) Ugg boots, aka 'Slag Wellies'
Every time I hear the phrase 'slag wellies' used for Uggs I can't stop myself from laughing out loud. Whoever came up with that phrase is a genius biggrin
Slag wellies is a great phrase hehe

On the long coats, I’ll meet halfway - the proper ones and fine (and bloody expensive!), the horrid rip-offs from Primani ( wink ) and the like are grim.

Buggered if I can see what's going on at the bottom of the stairs, looks like a double height step. Looks like a Bob the B fked up the order from Stairbox and convinced the customer it looked unbelievably cool so got away with it. I wonder if the place could be sold or rented with a half finished stairs. At least it has style, admittedly "council", better than the bland Homes Under the Hammer council fodder or, dare I say it Grand Designs. Exposed concrete; council.

Am I the only one who kept scrolling to the, erm, bar and sun lounge area?
The stairs are the least of the problem!

Expecting to get a meal for a "fiver" = council

Using the word "fiver" instead of "£5" = council as can be

This is the menu from the pub I linked earlier- £13 is cheap:
Vegetarian parmo = Council.

Facebook Marketplace is so relentlessly council. I see a lot of items with 'NEEDS GONE' in the description. What does that mean? It is assumed they want rid of the item otherwise they would not have listed it for sale!
It’s always tickled me that, when people say they urgently need to get rid of it. Am I meant to panic throw money at them and leave because it’s urgent
