Locally hotdog war is, again, in full fury. Dogs are unable to exist outside when the ambient temperature exceeds 25c, except the ones that relish tropical heat.

A good year, 2026, started early and lunacy flourishing.
All our local councilistas were out yesterday afternoon with their usual overfed Staffies, XLs and French Bulldogs. Clearly couldn't be bothered to wake up before noon to take them out when it was cooler. Morons.
Sadly, it doesn't just extend to those breeds ansd those types of people.

The only houses with numbers are the ones in the social housing close at the end of my village.
Most of the houses on my street have names. I have not the foggiest what any of them are called, and nor it would seem do half the delivery drivers and the odd postman. Bloody annoying when you've got someone else's mail or their Amazon parcel dumped on your doorstep and you haven't a clue where to take them.
Living on a street with other homes...........
Using vulgar Americanisms such as 'living on a street'.

I thought that was more a preppers thing. I've seen a couple of YT videos where people try them, it's always been from the "this is a shelf stable cheeseburger" vantage point rather than "here's an alternative to microchips and Campbell's meatballs".

I mean, they're gross, but I suspect the majority are in crates labelled "SHTF", owned by people who have a bug-out plan.

I had no idea what you were talking about, so I had to Google, Venezuela Fury and yup, I can now see what you mean.

Honestly, I've photographed a few weddings like this, but proper council in sports clubs (Shaw Lane in Barnsley, I'm looking at you!)
Almost as embarrassing as the scene at funerals in some cases.

seems to fit quite nicely here...

A woman from Essex, believed to be travelling to Cape Verde (obviously) has sparked widespread concern after failing to check in at Gatwick Airport on Facebook.

Louise Natick, known locally as "Lou", a 26 year old mother of eight and thick as gorilla exhibit glass was expected to upload the traditional holiday departure photo: a half-finished glass of Prosecco alongside a full English breakfast from the Wetherspoon's in Gatwick North Terminal, captioned simply:
"And relax..."

But the post never came.

Facebook issued a statement describing the situation as "highly unusual".

"It's extremely rare for a woman under 35 to leave the country without informing every potential burglar on the manor exactly how long her house will be empty. We're becoming increasingly concerned for Lou's well-being."

Friends say there has also been absolutely no sign of the customary "holibobs" announcement, no "See ya in a week, guys!" status update, and not even the traditional "I've had worse Mondays" post featuring her boyfriend Rhys - a self-employed street-level drug dealer with his own Stone Island puffa coat - standing proudly outside a minus 1* all-inclusive resort.

Concern is growing.

A worried friend, Traci Ringing, who asked not to be named, said:
"It's completely out of character. Normally she can't go ten minutes without banging on about her holibobs. This time it's like she's just quietly left the country and simply got on with it."

She added:
"Even the lads at the fencing supplies yard who were dipping her in creosote last Thursday said she seemed unusually subdued."

Authorities are continuing their enquiries.

My favourite part hehe

Are we still allowed to say "black fishing"? I saw an example recently and felt like I wanted to do jazz hands in her face and sing a rag-time song about my mammy.

Lol, it is absolutely mind boggling what (mostly) women/girls, do to themselves that they must think looks great; horrendous fake tan , poorly applied fake tan, stupid eyebrows, turkey teeth, ridiculous lips, bad make up, massive fake eye lashes, botox and surgery.

There's was a young woman in Sainsbury's a few months ago with her young son, her lips were so big she couldn't close her mouth and she was doing that thing they do when they have big lips, constantly licking them I guess as they dry out due to their mouth being open, everyone was doing a double take!
