Popped onto the Nextdoor app earlier while I was waiting to pick up my wife and daughter from softplay (yes, that's council), and saw this.

Squirty cream on cornflakes = council.

I love the stuff. Wouldn't have it on Corn Flakes though. Have had it on Porridge.

The 'Councllia' status of that image has been awarded due to the event taking place on the footpath. Events like that occur in thousands of British back gardens up and down the country without anyone knowing, and thus without any councillia status being awarded. However as soon as that event occurs on the footpath, or in a front garden it immediately attracts 'Uber councillia' status.

We've seen that image on here before, many times. I think someone even managed to track down the location.

VA have hit a new low with one of their planes named after the welfare system

VA should be renamed council air and yes there was copious amounts of clapping on landing (more than I think I have ever heard on any flight previously)

Odd... I thought that British Airways was the flag carrier rather than Virgin Atlantic.
I had no idea what ETOPS was so I headed down the rabbit hole... thanks for that!! https://simpleflying.com/etops-complete-guide/

As an aside, I love the name of the jet yes
It was a reference to this classic thread: https://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&...

Between GinettaG15 and RubyMurray.

How s the dog?
She died three years ago at the age of 15. She had 7 years of extra life after her ops and as I had her cremated, I now have some of her pins and plates on a chain around my neck! Yes, I know that's a bit creepy/yuck or whatever, but she meant the world to me.
Stuff is just not important when faced with situations like that. Chain sounds like a fitting way to remember your friend. Best wishes smile
Yes. we still have all our much loved dog's bits and pieces hanging on a hook. He was 17 years and three weeks when he lost the use of his back legs and we had to do the right thing.

Going out for a takeaway instead of ordering delivery or cooking yourself - Council (apologies if you've just finished work and didn't have time, in which case, overtime on a Friday night - Council).

Going for a takeaway instead of delivery - any excuse for a drive.

When I was growing up we had a staffie that was absolutely as daft as a brush and loved nothing more than chewing on house bricks.

Yes, I know... biggrin

My old Lab needed an operation on her leg, pins and plates, etc, and I was a bit short of the required many thousands the vet wanted, so I sold my prized possession. the Rolex Sub I'd saved for years to own brand new.

I regretted it not one iota!

Oh, and I got more for the watch than it originally cost me 5 years earlier, so that was a good investment too!
