I don't know what all the fuss is about. She was just showing all the passengers where the cockpit is.

And for everyone's delectation and delight, Keter sheds are having a sale. You just know you want this when your flat roof pub is closed.

The crucial and bizarre part being they didn t let Jet2 know what they were doing. Just arrived at midnight (so at least 12 hours later than expected), and having not arrived for the flight part of their package, and assumed everything would be fine.
As if they thought the hotel would just keep their room empty for a week if they didn t turn up. Just staggeringly low levels of common sense.
Or entitlement. As if they thought the hotel would just keep their room empty for a week if they didn t turn up. Just staggeringly low levels of common sense.
They should have called Jet2 - I certainly would have - but that aside they’ve paid for their holiday and logic says that yes, the hotel should have kept the room empty: it had been paid for.
So I’m disagreeing with the PH massive this time.

I think you re all being a bit harsh here; ok they ve missed their flight but have got their arses in gear and used some initiative and got another flight.

Would you have gone to print with your compo face on though? They should have called Jet2 - I certainly would have - but that aside they ve paid for their holiday and logic says that yes, the hotel should have kept the room empty: it had been paid for.
So I m disagreeing with the PH massive this time.

Granted - it wasn't a package holiday - but I think its pretty sharp of Jet2 to say "nahh, sorry, you are on your own" - would I have phoned them? Maybe, or I might have applied some "I'll sort my own stupidity out" thinking and done the exact thing they appear to have done.

It is like if you book a return flight, but don't turn up for your outbound flight. Don't expect to still have the return leg to use to come home if you get A.N Other (one way) flight out.

Likewise - I have done very similar in the past - had a skin full, missed a flight, booked a later flight, started holiday a couple of hours later, with a sore head and a lighter wallet.

Perhaps they should put that in the terms and conditions? Maybe they do, but who reads those...
