Water table and ground level are currently the same in my front garden.

It is draining away, but very very slowly.

Some mad flash flooding where we live just outside Thame, Oxon. That was some pretty intense rain for several hours!

I fixed and cleaned out the guttering yesterday. Normally that guarantees dry weather for six weeks!

Its rained very hard all day in Abingdon. The local Tesco will flood for a few days, Ock will burst its banks and the local lanes will be awash with abandoned hydrolocked cars...so the usual banghead

Pissing it down in MK and has been all night. A421 is shut due to flooding.

Saw Dunstable High Street under a good chunk of water. Place needed a good wash.

Forecast is solid heavy rain all day.

Absolutely sod all in Bingley (West Yorkshire) as per usual. I love thunderstorms so may have to relocate 'cause I always seem to miss out.

Our local weather bod / expert, has just posted up that in our area there has been snowfall every month this year except for July.

(caveat - the area Deeside & Donside covers the Cairngorm peaks as well)

Well crap, back to 32c on Thursday. And I've been enjoying the cold mornings, too.
Lowest ten day daytime temp in the next ten days-26c. Bored of this now.

Rainfall totals for 48 hours, 22nd and 23rd Sept 2024...

Records that have stood since the 1800s were smashed.

Might jack the Corvette in for a hovercraft, might get more use in the summers.

Currently at 22:30 sat outside with a cold beer in shorts and T shirt still 23C.

Admittedly I am in Gran Canaria.

It sound like I am in for a proper reality check Tomorrow when I get back to the U.K.
