Tornado time in Florida by the looks of things. Do hope people that way find a way of staying safe over the next 24 hours.

The number of tomes I had debates with my American customers about the British weather

I used to say that although British weather would make you cold, wet and miserable, it wouldn't kill you. Some of them wouldn't agree.

Yes, I just looked at the weather on BBC and had a wtf moment with the hurricane force winds headline yikes, I don't remember hearing about any weather warnings... Then I saw the wind speed! An unhelpful glitch it seems.

That’s nearly Mach 19 so definitely breezy.

Yep a glitchy glitch - shame as I was looking forward to it . . .

There are some parts of my local town that a 15000mph wind speed would actually improve.

But as above I did have a very quick wtf moment before I saw the banner indicating the app was subject to errors.

Bright and breezy in here in Guernsey at the moment, drizzle for the afternoon, nice tomorrow after a damp start, bit st on Saturday then super duper after that, which is good cos that means I can top and bale our fields.
Out of interest, what does the weather tend to be like in Guernsey in early October? Going for a few days, in my mind it'll be like nearly every picture I've seen, barely a cloud in the sky and sunshine all day
Think lucky dip smile if it is sunny I recommend Cobo bay with a bag of chips to watch one of the best sunsets anywhere.
yes

Rained the first day we got there, it was glorious the rest of the time. Left just as a storm was approaching.

Completely fell in love with Guernsey!

Lowest high temp for the week ahead in CO is 24c. Except for Friday, when it drops to 15c; a cold weekend then back to 20c for the following week. Fingers crossed this is the last of Summer.

21 possible in the SE on Wednesday. Warm and humid though - not summery.

Washed rhe bed stuff at the weekend. Thought is now the time for the winter duvet? It had been cold, went for it. Now going to be made to regret it.

Wow, at this rate it looks like I'll get to November before the heating goes on.

When will the rain end? Feels like we had the wettest summer in years then a brief sunny start to September and rain ever since. I've never known London to be so consistently wet. Is this our life now?

Amazing how outside of summer months, this doesn't seem to bother me. When the rain is ruining what should be outside/BBQ weather, I get so annoyed about it, as soon as it's widely accepted it's not longer outdoor/bbq season, I couldn't really care less that it's wet and miserable, I just know that's what we're in for!

High for this week in Colorado is 25c.

Fortunately, next week should be about 15 degrees cooler.

Current high pressure in the south gives way to a messy low Fri/Sat. Then high pressure returns - probably sticking around for the festival of spooky candy
