Move to the UK hehe

Having said that my part of SE England is about to have a warm (18C), sunny week as we go into November. The weather seems to get weirder and weirder.
In November 2006 I was working in a London rehab hospital.

I distinctly remember that for several days the weather was so sunny and warm that some groups were facilitated outside, in the hospital grounds.
I moved FROM the UK in 2006. I distinctly remember not seeing the sun for seven months over winter.

Nice frost on the ground this morning. Life is good.

My objection is that summer here usually lasts seven months, as does winter. Yes, it doesn't add up, but that's how it is. This year, summer has been closer to eight months.

I think we should call one Puggitober, in honour of our Thread Leader. Glory to The Leader.

I'm reserving Jimtober. It's the month between October and November, where the weather could literally do bloody anything.

It's also either 3 or 93 days long.

Snowed for the second time this year. Autumn is over. I think it lasted a week this year.

Over to the winter thread.

Don’t worry - we’ll be joining you regularly over there really quite soon. We’re just making the most of ‘another’ last hurrah!
