The sheer ignorance displayed by the media, stirred up by Musk, about the two Boeing astronauts aboard the ISS worrying 🙁

The launch which was scrubbed last night is not to retrieve the Boeing astronauts, the spacecraft they will be returning on has been docked at the ISS since September !

This is a normal crew-rotation flight, Crew 10.

The Crew 9 flight was sent up last year with two fewer crew than originally planned, to leave two spare seats for Butch and Suni to use at the end of the Crew-9 mission later this month.

Yes, NASA could have returned them earlier, at a cost of $200 - 300 million and the disruption of other missions which have been planned for years, but why should they ? The two astronauts have trained for years for spaceflight, so for them any extra time spent aboard the ISS is a bonus !

Social medias maddening tendency to serve you posts that are all over the place chronologically.

Just replied to a thread on Reddit, then realised the fking thing was 4 days old and everyone's probably moved on.

My phone's keyboard that seems to revel in changing words so that they make no sense, and I don't realise until I've pressed send.

Barely any point replying on Reddit unless you're the first 10 or so replies, just gets lost in the vast amount of crap that is argued about further down.

The app also has a habit of alerting you to a new post that might be of interest but hours after those actively on there have discussed everything in detail.

The current practice of fitting screw caps that are attached to a ring around the neck of (at least) 2 litre carbonated drinks bottles. Not only are they difficult to undo when new because they are stupidly tight, but they are shallower than the unattached type thereby reducing the grip area. They are also difficult to refit and become gas-tight again.

The phone itself poking up a girl's skirt might be a bit of a giveaway before any shutter noise became obvious. I think the pros use shoe cameras and the like.

All true, I don't know why I bother really on there, you can only really have a "debate" if you're on there pretty much full time, and half the time someone just wants to argue.

Much prefer it on here.

It's a way of mounting the camera.

Unsure if it’s already been mentioned, but people who hold their knife like a pen.

And most Americans with cutlery.

It's a real shame you can't just download a different camera app from Google Play.

I genuinely couldn't work out what that was supposed to be!

My wife has had to physically restrain me from taking the cutlery out of the hands of an American bloke in a restaurant, who was trying to cut a steak.

I was genuinely concerned that was about to inadvertently chop one of his fingers off.

Me neither tbh. I couldn’t decide what I meant to type that got mangled into that “sentence”. The new edit gets across the gist of it though.

Travel bloggers, they seem the worst knob jockeys, on social media, describing every food they taste as delicious.

Before tasting they stick their snout in the food, performing a loud inhalation, rolling their eyes upwards towards the heavens and exclaiming oh yes!

They then proceed to slurp the sloppy contents, while cramming more food in their fat trap than is necessary, sitting on a plastic chair with their knees around their ears, stating Pik Ting is a bowl of heavenly unctuous goodness, that will sustain a person for the hard days work ahead.

It’s a bowl of bloody noodles, not pan fried foie gras, that has a creamy, buttery taste, derived from force feeding geese corn so their liver becomes unusually fatty, affording it a silky taste unrivaled by any other meaty products.

Having a camera does not make you Gordon Ramsey, the world doesn’t need anymore GR’s, one bloody GR is more than enough.

I’m currently looking to buy a new car for weekends, high days & holidays & the amount of folk leaving the ZX81 to describe their pride & joy they want to sell for top money to a human being is beyond me. Stop being idle fkers & DIY. I want to see things about condition, service history, how long have you owned it not this ste…and I quote….

It's quite laughable, makes me want to ignore the ads. It clearly identifies illiterate cretins with whom you may not wish to do business.
