Stone me - you've found it haven't you? The gold is in there - we can tell!
Or its the Brief Case from Pulp Fiction
Indeed - I wondered that and the words "oh we're happy" (as there is a golden reflection) springs to mind.

Oh now you've gone and done it, I can only assume the "something better" is related to the garage / other stuff you've found out and it frankly not fair on my employer as I'm going to now have to keep checking the thread and your blog even more hehe

Finally got a bit of info for you on how to preserve/treat those there guns:

"microcyrstalline wax (trade name Renaissance wax) but it doesn't stabilise rust, it just provides a barrier between the metal and air/moisture to prevent any further rust occuring. The problem is that if there is any active rust and you then put a layer of wax over it you've created a mini environment for the rust to continue rusting! Active rust will look a bit wettish"

Hope this helps, still trying to see if I can generate some interest at the Imperial War Museum, my partner has only just started there, so will wait and see.

If you want to stabilise rust then you need Jenolite Jelly, brilliant stuff.

I imagine that your parents' and/or grandparents' generation are very glad that you can't, though...

I've forgotten to check on this topic for a week or so, so I was glad to come back to find that it's slowed a bit, and ive now caught up from where I left, and I can tell you whats on the other side of the trap door...

China.;)

Oh, and tell Dave that even though he's famous, it dont mean he can just go lazing off on holiday every 2 minutes, there's much more important stuff, like the tunnel.rolleyes
