I would follow him on IG, I'm fairly sure he guested in London last year, so he does get over this way occasionally and you might catch him.

I have never seen a tattoo that looks amazing 5 years after it has been done.

Skin/ body changes.
From Ultra HD sharp - it looks 1970's fuzzy
It looks blurred.

It looks crap.

I am polarised thought - I would like one - then I don't.

Seriously - how razor sharp are they after 5 years?
It has a lot to do with the skill of the artist and how you look after them!

I always apply SPF 50 to mine when I am going to be outside with them exposed (Winter or Summer), Also apply moisturizer regularly. I have protective sleeves I wear while working. I don't understand spending so much on something and not taking care of it? I work next door to a tanning salon and I would say 95% of the people going in have tattoos which has always baffled me!

Charming! wink

If your basis for judgement is the quality of the lines, I'm sure you're aware that the forearm isn't exactly a flat surface, the lines are straight, it doesn't photograph well. The scars it covers are straight too...

If your one and only contribution to this thread is a simple dislike for a personal choice, then, well, that's up to you..

Flew into glasgow for a couple of weeks so this afternoon visited forevermore tattoo on hope street where jamie gave me my first tattoo.

Not original but its what i wanted. Simple sharp and colourful. The bowie bolt always brings to mind his song ‘changes’ which is the reason behind it. Also because bowie is a legend tongue out

Chose them as they seemed to have decent reviews and due to having several traditional artists. I’m heading down to demon tweeks tomorrow to buy a new race lid then meeting jamie again on monday to discuss having him paint it.

I'm just about to get the cartoon horse from Tangled tattooed on my leg. Haven't figured out what that means yet.
If you're serious it means you're a moron.

Done by Tiggy at Briar Rose tattoos. I'm unbelievably happy with him, possibly my favourite tattoo to date.

You've got a few cartoon style like this haven't you?

Every time this thread reappears in "My Stuff", it makes me think more about booking for another....

My second one - first was this time last year. Night-and-day difference in the artist experience though. I'd definitely return to Tiggy next time - check her out on Instagram.

I reckon the Lego Spaceman from the eponymous movie next time...

Do you mean Death's Head Hawk Moth, or is it something different when you get it tattooed on? Why's it significant?

It is a Deaths Head Hawk but often the Skull markings are made more obvious in tattooing. In real Moths, there is a similarity to a skull (hence the name) but it doesn’t always look exactly like a skull.

I’ll try and find a decent pic of mine - there is one on this thread somewhere.

It’s signifcance in tattooing is bourne out of an association with the supernatural and of trouble.
