Do you have a tattoo?
Discussion
I've decided what I want at long last! But haven't got a clue how to find it...
Its the soundwave of part of my favourite song (and where my username comes from). I've seen prints you can get it, so if I get one of them and take it in will that be ok?
Next I need to decide where I want it.

Just got back from having my first tattoo. It’s taken me over 15 years to settle on something I really wanted.
Steve Pearson at Black 13 did it for me:
I’ve spent the last 4 years visiting and travelling around Tennessee with a couple of friends and 2 years ago I met my girlfriend out in Nashville. I’m currently in the middle of a 3 month visit here. I settled on the Tri-star from the Tennessee flag to serve as a permanent reminder that some of the best days of my life have been spent here.

Having sat through 9 hours on my chest and shoulder, I know it's a very sensitive area. Fair play for getting that much coverage there!

Are you also a fan of Mitsubishi, having their logo right in the middle of the stars ?
Seems like good work, those lines shold be recognizable even after aging/blurring/fading due to aging processes (of ink & wearer).
Ha! That is a bit of a coincidence, but the flag is like that. I was very impressed with Steve’s work when researching. His style is American Traditional and even though that’s not what my tattoo is I knew it would men he’d be very good at clearly defined lines.Seems like good work, those lines shold be recognizable even after aging/blurring/fading due to aging processes (of ink & wearer).

So did the tattooist use stencils? That circle looks perfectly round and the stars look absolutely identical. That would be some skill to draw that freehand on paper let alone on skin.
Yes he did. Some of the main points I made in the brief beforehand were that I wanted it as perfect as possible, clearly defined lines, not freehand.Bit annoyed, sent a couple of messages to some local places and they've all read (facebook) and replied to one message and then radio silence. Most annoying bit? Younger sister messaged them after I did and got a reply and is booked in for next week.
Gives me a bit longer to decide on something. The sound wave idea doesn't look brilliant with the song I want, so not sure how it will work in a tattoo.
