Fully willing to admit that it might just be that their particular comedy styles don't appeal to me, but if I see any of the comedians listed below on TV, I find myself wondering if I really want to watch the show in question. I've explained the first few but then got bored.

Vick Reeves - might have been funny once but I obviously missed it.
Sara Pascoe - Too self-righteous and not all that funny even when not being preachy.
Frankie Boyle - For those who find being slightly shocked funny.
Al Murray - Maybe I just don't 'get' the whole pub landlord thing.
Russel Brand
Rory Bremner
Dave Gorman
Phil Jupitus
Miles Jupp
Josie Long
Michael McIntyre
Andy Parsons
Jonathan Ross
Matt Lucas
David Walliams
Catherine Tate

Sarah Milican (spelling?)
She seems to have built her entire career on an accent.
....and zero talent. Aweful!
She has the figure of a 60yr old granny. But her husbans is the English version of Frankie Boyle..now him i do find amusing, he HAS to have a good sense of humour...He married her

And Mcintyre words fail me. is he under hypnosis thinking he is THAT funny

I could make a tasteless remark about his personal life, but even i might cringe at it
Like most female comedians talks about her vagina, fking stragers and eating cake.

My sides
Krusty the clown nailed it

Vc is a legend! Alongside Bob of course. It's slapstick obviously, which is difficult to get right.

Gorman. He can be very funny, but his TV shows tend to drag a bit.

Jupp. Very funny at times, but does go political (aka Tories/Brexit yadda yadda) a little too much for my taste.

The rest. Spot on!

Johnathan Pie. Went a show of his at the weekend, left after about 20 minutes. Utter rubbish. I work with people who are funnier. ( in the funeral trade)
He USED to be very good. Very balanced. Attacking all sides.

Then he was interviewed by the face Owen Jones who accused him of "not being Left enough". (I get the impression Tom Walker is pretty much Centre Left)

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nA6OwzQ-P1Q

He then overdid his show to appeal to that demographic. It's all "Tories this that and the other" "Trump this that and the other" "Brexit this that and other"

Where before I used to enjoy his little (if always a similar style) rants. Now I don't bother to watch any of them

Interesting that his co-writer at the beginning was Andrew Doyle (https://twitter.com/andrewdoyle_com) But I think they don't collaborate so much now. And it shows. AD kept TW balanced IMO

Getting away from Nish Kumar for the moment, earlier I saw an advert for Nina Conti doing a few weeks at the Soho Theatre.

Just how many years has she been doing that face mask ventriloquist thing now. It was funny when I saw her do it for about 3 minutes on a royal variety performance or something back however many years ago. But I've no idea how people get through an hour of that, if that's what her show still consists of, which is what the poster/advert suggests.
I saw her show a few years ago in Guildford, my stomach hurt from laughing so much - it’s not normally my cup of tea, but my Mrs had tickets. She’s very good and there is something very compelling about how people’s natural reactions work with what the “masks” are making them say.

And she was Ken Campbell's bit on the side. He introduced her to ventriloquism

He never mentions it.
He ticks a diversity quota I'll give him that. Doesn't make him funny though.

Actually I saw Josh Widdicombe live at Reading Festival and he was pretty good tbf. Nothing about politics or Brexit which was refreshing.

The worst by a million miles is Kate Smurthwaite. The only funny thing she’s ever been part of is that SKY interview with Peter Lloyd.

With you there on Michael McIntyre. My wife took me to see his show and it was more ordeal. It was so watered down I could of taken the kids. I nodded off in the final half. Whole thing reeked of political correctness, nothing at all edgy and I probably smiled once!

Jonathan Ross is a good showman, as seen him live and was amazed out how well he does the show, no cuts etc and most of the funny bits had to be edited out when it went to TV!

Saw Jimmy Carr yesterday - mainly a gag & 1 liner set. Very different to seeing him on TV and very very funny. He gets stick for being vulgar in place of funny but honestly he was brilliant yesterday.

He is 'cool' in the same way Stephen Fry is a 'national treasure'. Trying too hard debars you from the status.

Comedy requires fast talking and brilliant timing.

Her disability means this isn’t possible and, as a result, she is simply not funny.

I'll add Rosie Jones to this as well, sorry but she just annoys me.

Was she better then?
