Whilst everybody say's don't join it for what you get out of it, in my experience many do. You will get a great opportunity to network and you may get a leg up in your business/career. People like doing business with people they know and trust. It's a great upstanding organisation dedicated to charity - nuff said?

Interesting when you're waaaaaaaay up the ladder.

have you been through the chair yet?
Nope, just got my first 3 out of the way, then treasurer, enjoyed doing the wt for newbies (who were 20/30/40/50 years my senior) to keep me ticking over on remembering.have you been through the chair yet?
ETA Yes, very young, but it's a family history thing, my old man and grandad also consecrated my lodge as a new one in 2000, so nice to be part of it from the beginning, hence I was in as early as allowed.

An arcane, misunderstood group, where you are approached on the quiet to see if you want to join, and if you do you will be viewed with suspicion by those around you?
Not sure it appeals.
And yet they made you a mod?Not sure it appeals.
Go figure.
