Seeing as Stephen Hawking has just passed away, should we bring up scientific wagers again?

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scientific_wager

..."In 1975, cosmologist Stephen Hawking bet fellow cosmologist Kip Thorne a subscription to Penthouse magazine for Thorne against four years of Private Eye for him that Cygnus X-1 would turn out to not be a black hole. In 1990, Hawking acknowledged that he had lost the bet. Hawking's explanation for his position was that if black holes didn't actually exist much of his research would be incorrect, but at least he'd have the consolation of winning the bet."...

I also take it someone has posted Unit 731 somewhere? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Unit_731
Friend of mine told me about a film called "Men Behind The Sun", which is about Unit 731. He told me never, ever to watch it. He never usually tells me not to watch things, so when he said never to watch it I took his advice.

For all the gore and horrible actions portrayed in that article, they're depicted in the movie. Everything.

The room where the last emperor of the Inca Empire was kept by the invading spanish is still standing.

Emerging victorious from a civil war with his own brother, he had little time to enjoy his position.
