I don't want anyone to use any of their credits for this, and at the moment it's not worth me buying some (me being tight and everything), but I'm possibly at the beginning of a paypal dispute over something sold through the back door of ebay. I offered him a sum, he agreed, I paid via paypal but he didn't know how to end the auction early saying "he'll tell the 'winner' that the item is broken.
He was suppose to send it on Monday, heard nothing about it, emailed him Wednesday and again today but with no replie.

I know, I know... it goes against all the rules of common sense and since then I've seen a few more of the same item go for less than I paid..!

I know his full name and general location - 192.com shows me a part address, but if anyone can help with a full address I'd be most grateful. I know it's quite a distance from where I am, but if he knows I know where he lives then it may spur him into action.

As mentioned its early days yet and its probably nothing to get overly concerned about so I won't post any specific details on here so PM please.

BT.com's Directory enquiries at the bottom of the page can be useful for this on most occasions.

Thanks,

just tried it but it doesn't seem to access the electoral register like 192 does - it one gives me one match, whereas 192 give 3 and a list of occupants which match exactly the name I have - it's quite distinct.

There another one:

www.ukphonebook.com

...but my IP at work is some daft American thing so I can't get into it now - I'll try that when I get home tonight.
