Enhanced, no?
He has veins... on his shin biggrin

I would guess yes.
He's well known for his 'enhancement' like most wrestlers/ex wrestlers.

Still he's worked bloody hard for those results even if he's been assisted, you don't get to where he is without a bucket load of determination, intelligence and guts!

I'd say he's defo on Creatine, probably the ethyl ester judging from his veins.

He is miles bigger now than his earlier years in the WWF.

Some of his posts on twitter are mad. He loves an early morning gym sessions at like 4am.

Mad!

thank you to everyone for the nice comments, now get your pictures up!

I've always been a big fan of "The Rock", but like Is aid, he recently has become just way way to big. I think his look in Walking Tall is probably achievable for me (with a sh!t load of training):

I like the Rock. He is nowhere near the size he was when he started (he was massive at around 20 stones), but is a lot more vascular now. I think he got down to 15 stones, but then put on a bit ore for his later action roles.
I wouldn't mind looking like The Rock.biggrin

The Rock is in mad shape and is a tank in Fast Five !

I agree with OC's comment, it takes a lot of dedication and training to look like that regardless of enhancement. I don't have any moral objections to juicing anyway but would prefer some honesty.

Say your prayers and eat your vitamins biggrin

Question time - Does muscle grow at the same rate as you can loose weight ?

Take Sushi for eg he's shaved off loads of timber the last few months. If he had the correct diet etc would he build up as his muscle as fast as he lost the weight ? Presume it would take a lot longer to gain the muscle ?

The answer is no.

It's far easier to lose fat than it is to gain muscle.

The rate of which muscle is gained depends on a lot of factors in the same way as the rate of fat loss depends on activity and diet.

Actually I think I was wrong about the Rock. Saw a 'then and now' picture of him on facebook, from a few years ago when he was lean. He seems to have gone for a bodybuilder style physique, narrower in the hip and bigger in the shoulder than his chunky 'Flex Cavana' days. He stripped down to 15 stones when his acting took off but now he had completely reversed that? Bad move if the goal is to move into better films imo.

Right then, so back from 2 weeks holiday in sunny Ibiza and getting back into the swing of things...

I decided I'd take a before & after weight & photo record for the holiday (I know it's only a very small time period) to see how sensitive the body is to short-term changes.

So before the holiday I'd been eating a very 'clean' diet, and been on a 2 month cutting period. I decided the holiday would be exactly that, so I ate/drank whatever I wanted- so it was 2 weeks of burger & chips, steak & chips, full-english breakfasts, pizzas, ice-cream, and more than my fair share of alcohol.

Weighed myself a few times since returning (over a 36 hour period) and the scales suggest a loss of around 3pounds compared to my pre-holiday weight (so negligable). Photo suggests minimal change to body composition. Not that this is entirely enexpected given it was 'only' 2 weeks, but I'm still pleasantly suprised at the body's resistance to such a negative change to diet.

Just a shame it shows the same resistance when it comes to growth! hehe

Anyways, 2 gym sessions down since the holiday and have noticed no effect on my lifting strength, just a bit of decreased cardio capability (I was just over 2mins off my best 21min 18sec 5K time), but I'm decreasing my cardio for the next 3-4 months so I'm not to worried about that.

The next bulking phase (quite a funny term to use considering my small frame!) starts here!

Rockumentary on dead Sky at the moment. The physical changes over time are, err 'interesting'

Sushi, if you want an aiming point, I'd go for Ian Roberts (ex RL player). Hard as nails & built like a hurricane proof outhouse. Might be gay as a whale (if that matters, not to me, phenomenal rugby player), but ultimately a preferable aiming point, in a reasonable number of ways.,
