I often walk past Goldman Sachs and from street level you can see into the gym - I presume it is part of the bank.
Facilities look fantastic - but even at 7am in the morning it is super busy.
Yeah, these bloody pre-worker worker-outers! It's the second most busy period! Least busy for mine is just before or just after lunch....or of course the midnight hours. I like going at 2 in the morning, but then it has to fit in with your week. Facilities look fantastic - but even at 7am in the morning it is super busy.
My Son nicked all my gear, Squat Rack, benches, bars, plates, pull down machine and stuff, now needs to move suspect it will all end up dumped.
Moan wise, not really amoan but people do some weird stuff like weigh down a pull down machine and then just move it about a third of its range of motion.
Or the older gent on the cable crossover doing some weird moves with the lightest weight, looked so weird, never seen anyone do an exercise like it, I suspect he has had no training on it whatsoever, looked like he was playing tennis, hard to explain.
Another guy doing press ups like this,

Its got a bit quieter though thankfully.

Press ups like that are called hindu press ups (if he was doing correct form and not as per your clip)
Nope, more like Vyvyan than that.I think some folk come in with an idea they know what to do and do some vaguely appropriate moves, but really a few sessions with a PT would work wonders. I am not expert either though I hasten to add.

sad news that gyms have been told to close now.. whole shebang could last up to a year (at the longest). thankfully during this time my gym have said no payments will be charged.
what will we do?
Wait a month then go back. People will get bored sat at home and slowly venture out etc.what will we do?
I'm going to try home yoga, plyometrics etc as something different to the normal

I foresaw this, so I ordered a dipping station, some kettlebells and a training sandbag what will we do?
