I think you're doing too many heavy singles, Chris. Your CNS must be taking a beating. Likewise for always going to failure.

I got 3 hours sleep last night and feel like st so did a 30 minute workout at home.

Pull ups: 3 x 14,8,7 No staying power. Need to work on conditioning.
Lateral raise: 4 x 8 supersetted with a tough plank variant.
Band pull aparts to death (high rep sets with 30 seconds rest)

I'm terrible at lateral raises, it turns out! Also hate working out at home. No proper equipment and toddler to deal with.

First off, thanks for all the feedback on the SARMS - going to do some more research but looking like I'll go ahead and do it towards the end of the summer. Doing way too much cv stuff for it to be any use at the moment, but looking forward to my little experiment.

Anyway, tonight's ride below - pretty full-on hour in a brutal wind and then 120 pull ups at home and a few dips thrown in too.

I sell them through my website on my bio fairly cheap too. I'm using them for recovery for my chest, definitely speeding things up. But I don't know to what extent, don't have anything to compare it to but pretty much got full ROM 3 weeks post surgery smile

Good man! It looked like a hell of an effort to keep it moving in the middle phase.

laugh probably stronger at my current rate. 20 rep sets as prescribed by the physio for legs only. No upper body work for another 4/5 weeks still frown

The only other option was peptides but for what I needed I had to inject next to the tendon - no thanks!
They're working well and plan to exploit them when I can train heavy again. 1 step closer to the dark side laugh

Me too. Given that it is literally double my heaviest deadlift, I was looking for the bar to stall so that I could shout "No rep!" and piss on his chips...but I think that Mr Grit kept it moving.

Thanks Gents. It felt heavy- and TBH The only reason it went is because I'd decided beforehand that it would, I knew i'd pull it. Positive mental attitude adds kg's- it would have stayed on the floor if I'd started doubting it.

So yesterday 65km on Zwift, mostly group rides but then with a horrible 5 mile time trial at the end - legs were super fried. Then tonight was a recovery ride on the road with the Thursday crew. Only 43km but squeezed in over 800m of climbing. Legs are tired but it's a good tired.

A weekend ladened with gym sessions and more cycling.

Yeah, injections would always be a step too far for me, popping sweets is another matter. hehe

SO no side effects or owt? I am considering a purchase myself in summer.

Still talking about SARMS?

I think the consensus is as follows:

(1) Partly too soon to say - not many studies.

(2) Probably have the same negative effects as anabolic steroids, just milder versions.

(3) Have similar positive effects, but again milder versions.

(4) On balance, probably a bit risky unless you are making money from using them.

Difficult to say, they've been out years but not decades AFAIK. From the research there is, there's very little in terms of sides. On a couple you may need a "mini pct" just to be safe after 8-12 weeks but is user dependant.
Gains, from what I've read you can't go past natural limits? Aside from YK-11 which apparently allows your muscle mass to go past natural limits.
There's mixed results on RAD-140 either causing or speeding up prostate cancer I think it was.
I haven't read too much into them, I'm just using MK677 (oral growth hormone) and Ostarine. Both really good for tendon repair which appears to have shown!

On paper they're very interesting and promising!

my view is if you can buy them legally over the counter then they are marketing hype. placebo affect? Peptides work well. Never tried them.
