PH Parents of 2017
Discussion
There doesn't seem to be a 2017 one of these, but I know the 2013 one was good for me last time.
Anyway, got a bit of a surprise last night. Can't tell anyone (family etc) yet as far too early but want to shout about it. This is as good a place as any.
Expected early June 2017.
Anyone else?

Yeah, I''m going to be in the club.
Exactly the same situation as yourself.
Had our first in 2013, the second is due March next year.
We have our 12 week scan next Wednesday, if all is well then we will be telling everyone.
It's been difficult keeping it secret, as we have been to a few family bbq etc where I've had to take a hit for the team by drinking my own and my wife's booze to try and keep people off the scent!
Should be a great surprise to everybody as I'm pretty sure nobody suspect anything this time around!

Must be a hardship taking one for the team!
Assuming its just the 3 of you, how do you feel about adding another, changing the dynamic?
Yeah, it was a struggle!!Assuming its just the 3 of you, how do you feel about adding another, changing the dynamic?
Am nevous about it. Our first was a difficult experience for the first 6 months due to an undiagnosed tongue tie. We had real difficulty with feeds etc, which knocked on to poor sleep. She's still not a great sleeper!
However, this time round we know what we are doing (allegedly) so it hopefully will be easier. Fingers crossed!
Just hoping the scan and blood tests all come back clear now!

We had our second last December and all I can say is be prepared to be tired, VERY tired.
If you thought one was tough, oh man...
Had our nhs scan yesterday. All is well, due date of March 17th is being banded around!
Just waiting for the results of the nifty test to come back before we can unleash the news on family.
As we are both 37, my wife wanted the improved accuracy of the blood test to make sure everything is ok.
Apparently, her blood was held up in customs in Hong Kong where the lab is..... Mental!
So we might not get the results until Monday.
regarding the tiredness, it the one thing I'm dreading! I always thought I was pretty good with not needing lots of sleep, but my first showed I'm really crap with broken sleep! Hey ho, it doesn't last forever does it haha

The wife just took me out for lunch. I thought 'cos the weather is so nice. Turns out she's 1 week over on the monthly cycle...and so we are expecting our....wait for it... 7th!
Not exactly what we wanted, having just sent the last one to school and started to get our life back after 4 1/2 years. I didn't ask her "Do you want to keep it?" Maybe I should have done, but I don't think I could live with that decision, although with her being 44 next year, obviously there are worries.
On the plus side, our eldest will be off to Uni soon, so there will be a spare bedroom!
Obviously unplanned, mistake seems to be due to the Personna computer thing getting confused due to time zones on our trip to India in August.

Good job sir, I was just checking in to say we're expecting number 5 in April! Not exactly what we wanted, having just sent the last one to school and started to get our life back after 4 1/2 years.
