We welcomed our second daughter, Livia Daisy, yesterday. Giving birth looks like bloody hard work and Mrs lauda was a trooper. Hoping to get home today and introduce the new one to her big sister. Exciting times!
Congratulations! 3.5 months to go here. No prep started yet as house is being gutted for renovation work. Trying not to panic.
We are at full term minus 3 days. My wife is in bed today with pain in her back, as the baby seems to be dropping lower and giving her a good going over as it does so. She had an anti natal yesterday which is showing the baby is still right at the top of the growth charts, with predictions of 4.5kg being banded about!!!!! If that's true, she's about to go through the wringer and I'll never be able to touch the sides again
Cheers!
All at the hospital at the mo, as the rapid birth meant my wife suffered a tear which needed treatment in the hospital.
Baby has been feeding and pooing/peeing like a trooper, so she's obviously related to me!!
Both just really shocked at how fast everything happened yesterday. We had talked about a home birth, but a home birth with just me and my mother to catch the baby wasn't what we had in mind!!!!
Hope everybody in the thread it doing well!!

Our twins are about 7 weeks now. Nervous breakdown booked in for early April.
What a ststorm. In more ways than one. I took the bin bag with the last few days of nappies out today and I reckon it was getting on for 10kg. Ridiculous.
