Look on the bright side, you've had 36 years with hair.....
Some people don't manage 25.

I made it to just over 25. I got quite depressed about it, considered spending thousands on hair implants, then decided to embrace it. I'm nearly 36 now. Would I like hair? Of course, but it doesn't define you, and TBH it's never really caused me the issues I thought it would (thanks Bruce Willis )Some people don't manage 25.

I had "notice the word had" very thick hair which I thought would mean very little chance of it disappearing but in my late 20's it just started to get thinner and thinner.
This was brought to my attention when a "friend" bought a thinning hair cream for my head.
As others have stated here the sides of my head grow in without issue but the top is just getting too thin which then makes the sides look stupid.
Basically a number 2 cut over the top and very short at the sides has made the thinning look a lot less.
Trying to hold onto the hair on top only makes you look worse.
Don't be taken it by buying creams or the dreaded colour spray which you see advertised online.
None of them work and the spray looks like a can of paint for your car.
Saw this online which is impressive but would never do it.

But how does a girl/woman get around thinning hair to the point of hair loss? This was brought to my attention when a "friend" bought a thinning hair cream for my head.

I'm interested in keeping my hair as my younger brother has started to lose a lot of his, people think he's older than me due to it.
Half the youtube videos I watch are sponsored by a company called Keeps https://www.keeps.com/ but it looks like it's not available in the UK, is anything similar available over the counter?
Don't really want to spend a lot on dodgy online remedies, reminds me of the enhancement pill spam emails from years back.

The only proven treatment is finasteride (propecia). Available via prescription only. It works by inhibiting DHT (byproduct of testosterone). For some reason many males’ scalp hair follicles are sensitive to DHT and in turn the follicle ceases hair production. Like I mentioned earlier though, finasteride has potential side effects e.g. low libido, breast enlargementHalf the youtube videos I watch are sponsored by a company called Keeps https://www.keeps.com/ but it looks like it's not available in the UK, is anything similar available over the counter?

This, I always shaved mine as a kid on #1, grew it for a few years between 13-16 but it started falling out badly at 17. Some people don't manage 25.

Now 31, have to BIC it off every 2 days.

believe me, hair loss can begin at any age because mine was only 19 years old when he began to lose his hair ....
Mines was completely gone by 20. Left school and within 2 years gone. I'd have loved thick hair to 35. I'm not even 35 now Haha. Anyway I spent a year under a hat before having enough money to fix it and never felt more free getting that hat thrown away. Still get asked today about 9 years later why dont I grow my hair... cant pal its a tattoo haha. Never been questioned bar the odd person thinking I'm mad for "shaving my hair off" If it lasted to 35 I wouldn't have cared. Infact it's starting to fade slightly in the edges after 9 years but just looks like I'm thinning at the temple and I dont care.

Pics please Hotchy.
I know a girl with tattooed eyebrows, but a whole head of hair sounds amazing.
I'm 46,thinning, doesn't bother me.
Will do later, at work now. Just looks like you've bic'd off your hair. They had a forum back when I had it done used hishair. Was only £3k. Results are fully down to the style you choose. Dont pretend your 15 and it works well. Also wasnt 100% happy with a temple bit but lasered off in one 3 second session... for a good few hundred... ouch.I know a girl with tattooed eyebrows, but a whole head of hair sounds amazing.

I have thought that baldness is a modern phenomenon, certainly in the numbers we see today. If you look at old news reels of large groups of men, such as football matches, or 2nd world war scenes the only bald people you see are old. That is not the case today.
They weren't old, they just looked old because they were bald V8covin said:

They weren't old, they just looked old because they were bald What's changed is that more men today are shaving their heads during the early stages of baldness whereas that wasn't the case with previous generations
