Started going at 19 when my hair was precious. By 23 I was down to a no.4 and then about a year or so later I wet shaved it and it's been like that for the 15 years or so since.
If they suddenly came up with a revolutionary treatment to grow it all back i would have it in a heartbeat as it affects you more than you care to realise but I'm not a fan of grafts or Tattoos.
Definitely has it's benefits but I do think it removes some of your identity as most people do their hair in a particular style because they chose it, not because it was forced upon them by nature.

Mine started thinning when I was about 25, shaved it all off and now 48, happy with my shaved head, in fact my better half of 22 years has never seen me with hair,
Started at 19/20 for me. Held on until 26 when I buzzed it all off - now wet shave every 2/3 days. Like you my wife hasn’t seen me with hair.If I could grow my hair back, I’d probably still have it a grade 0/1 all over. Funny that people have mentioned the removal of identity element of hair loss; I find that having a shaved head is part of my identity now, indeed friends/colleagues have said its my trademark!
I’m not afraid to say that losing your hair when young is quite traumatic. I’d recommend anybody who is worrying about it to bite the bullet and shave it off. Check out baldcafe on YouTube.
