Hello PVA, a couple of questions.

What are your thoughts on fasted cardio? I've used it to great success, is there any supporting evidence to say it does burn more fat over non fasted cardio?

Also overheard in the gym the other day, is it true (for a male) up until a heart rate of around 130bpm we utilise fat for fuel but after this the body switches to burning glycogen for fuel instead?
if you've used it to great success then that says it all really, it works for me to.

I avoid cardio 1st thing in morning though as this is when cortisol is at its highest, not eating keeps it elevated much further into the day to, some magnesium rich snacks and a magnesium supplement throughout the day sees me doing below 130HR cardio toward the end of the day, i'm pretty much moving all day though, probably walk about 15 miles in total, but yeah, I have always worked to the rule that the body best uses fat stores 115-130 bpm, could well be bks but i use what works for me.

Do you ever use, ZMA, PP?
stop talking in code man! you know i'm a neanderthal !
It probably looks like I'm processed mad...I'm actually quite unprocessed focus. I mostly eat raw veg or steamed. I do eat meat, though at times very little meat, I love eggs and fish.
I was flush and love the protein bars, but now I am poor and thus, have bought some large tubs of whey and casein. I would say thevast bulk of my diet is unprocessed, with cheese, skyr quark/yoghurt and my protein 'extras' sorting out the processed remainder.

zinc, magnesium and vit b6 supplement. I bought some optimum nutrition caps, but then my ablutions went weird, I knocked them on the head...I have since posting, read that taking them with food at night may resolve the toilet issues. I haven't attempted it yet.

Hi wavey

After doing squats and lunges (either at the rack or on the smith machine) I seem to get sore ankles. I never notice it at the time but always the next day. I thought my form was fine, weight's through my heels etc. When squatting I tend to turn my toes out slightly to activate the glutes a bit more, but doubt that would impact my ankles?

I always eat around 30 minutes before taking ZMA. I always have 0% fat yogurt, casein powder and cashew nuts and never have an issue. Often get some pretty vivid dreams from ZMA but sleep quality is noticeablly improved. I always opt for either Primaforce or Universal, bigger cheaper tubs with a decent dose.

Tom Delauer? biggrin

I've not done a full day fast or multiple day fast for a while. I was experimenting with ACV. On ful day fasts it did at least take the edge of not tasting anything, but I wasn't sure if it would break it.

I want a personal doctor constantly taking my results. biggrin

Errr no!

The idea of eggs always makes me think of it as one of the most primal foods, cavemen scavenging from nests..

Can you image trying to do this diet back then! Poor birds woulda been extinct in your close proximityhehe though they would have been considerably larger eggs, an Austritch egg is equal to 24 hens eggs! So maybe it wouldn’t have been so difficult :scratchcin: as it happens, Waitrose sell austritch eggs at a mere £20!

I’m fasting 3 days a week at mo but it ends in 2 weeks so maybe i’ll Give this a go biggrin

You tempted? and where on gods earth do you find these bizarre ideas rofl (I know, YT, but u know what I mean)
