Will do a weigh in on Saturday morning, having just got home from a half board holiday with a buffet-style restaurant. This can't have gone wrong can it?
I did manage some running and tried to limit the carbs to running days, but I can't say I was super-disciplined. They had self-serve chocolate ice cream for goodness sake!

Found a set of scales in the onsen changing room I was in this afternoon which game me 115kg!
Was up at 118kg on another set in another onsen 10 days ago...and at 121 when I left for holiday on good Friday!
Whilst in some ways I can believe it, 25-32k steps a day says the Garmin and a diet of sushi, goyoza and ramen I thought it'd be offset by the copious amounts of Sapporo, Asahi and Sake I'm taking on...
Time will tell when back home and on my own scales!

Not too late to join this I hope
5'7, 41 and 103kg at the start of February. Down to 89kg on the 2nd April and 87kg this morning (although Sunday is my usual weigh-in day). Would like to get down to about 75kg which is where I was at the end of 2009.
Diet's been going well. I reckon, using the MyFitnessPal app I'm consistently in the 1200-1400 calorie range and on work days I'm walking about 5 miles. I've also started cycling again after an almost 20 year hiatus. The past week I've been on leave working in the garden including 4 days of heavy landscaping and I got three 10-15 mile bike rides in so the weight's been falling off.5'7, 41 and 103kg at the start of February. 83.5kg this morning which means, I think, that in old school terms I think I've lost 3 stone in almost exactly three months.
Am I too late to this? Im looking to loose weight after being a fat teenager / young adult and maintain a consistent weight going forward. Also going on holiday in November so would be good to loose some.
Im currently 105 kg and been dieting for 3 weeks already using the fitness pal app. Im consuming around 1500 calories a day. The target is to get down to around 82kg / 13 stone.

I think you need to eat more bud than 1500 cals per day. Im currently 105 kg and been dieting for 3 weeks already using the fitness pal app. Im consuming around 1500 calories a day. The target is to get down to around 82kg / 13 stone.
Can I suggest you put your numbers into the excellent IIYFM calculator? https://www.iifym.com/iifym-calculator/
I'm sure there is no such thing as too late for a fellow PH'er!

Thanks, according to that calculator I can be eating around 1900! Managed to loose 2 pounds 3 weeks in a row but hungry all the time. Will make the adjustments to my dietCan I suggest you put your numbers into the excellent IIYFM calculator? https://www.iifym.com/iifym-calculator/

If you follow a IIYFM style of diet then you get to make choices about the foods you eat that fit your daily calorie goals. Eating this way means you can make choices about how calorie dense certain foods are or not as is the case. If you eat calorie dense foods you'll obviously not get much quantity and will probably get hungry but if you eat less calorie dense foods then you get to eat much more!
I won't use the phrase 'eating clean' but if you eat quality foods (lean meats, vegetables etc) you'll probably eat more in quantity than you may of been eating before and then what I often find is I have calories left over and sometimes I will eat some nice later like a cake or similar and still be within my calories/macro goal.
Ah - 74.3kg as of this weekend. Not ideal, but I've changed shape too, so I think some may well be leg-muscle from more hill running, as I can see a ribcage now.
Trying to eat sensibly at every opportunity but without being a food-bore, get my greens and lean protein in and generally avoid snacks. I've fallen out of the MFP habit though, which isn't good. That's the single biggest boost I have to eating well - having to type the bad stuff into a website!

14.10.0, roast dinner yesterday, wont go into details but should be lighter tomorrow, drunk a lot more water than normal today and hadnt realised how much that can help "Digestive Transit", felt like I had passed a bloody Transit this morning
Was a pretty good day, Protein shake for breakfast, soup for lunch and then a nothing in freezer special of fish and chips, which spoilt it a bit.

66% success right there. In Uni terms, a solid 2.1. Might not work out that way in healthy eating mind...Was a pretty good day, Protein shake for breakfast, soup for lunch and then a nothing in freezer special of fish and chips, which spoilt it a bit.
Well I got back yesterday and onto the home scales...119kg, not the 115 they said in Japan!
Still a kg or 2 lower than when I left which given I was away on holiday and thus eating/drinking to excess I'm not too annoyed about...
Despite being jetlagged to buggery I'm hitting the gym this lunch time, hopefully I'll get back to that 115kg within a week or 2...
