Had anyone had robotic hearing?

My hearing in my left ear has gone robotic on 3 occasions since December last year and I have no idea why. I know I have issues with my Eustachian tubes but I have had issues for a long time and this is a recent thing. If anyone has had this happen did you see an ent?

Thanks. Typical that this would happen the day before my wedding.
