Oh my god, my arse is on fire!

Got some anusol from the chemist but doesn't seem to make a lot of difference, any home remedies worth trying before I get to my GP on Monday for some nuclear strength treatment?

Think I'm going to spend the weekend standing up or lying down, sitting is just too uncomfortable!

No advice, but I understand it's a real pain in the arse!

Deep heat cream or capsacum oil will help.

Deep heat indeed, I might as well go get some of that mint leaf and tea tree shower gel! Judging by the reviews on Amazon the piles would be the least of my concerns.

Wet wipes in the fridge, sounds moderately sensible!

not much you can do but ensure you drink plenty of water and have fiber. When I went GP about it once all they prescribed me some kind of syrup that you take with a meal

When I went to the GP with this problem, I shook his hand on arrival. After the examination, I didn't bother, as I felt he knew me rather better by then....

Had this before. Do you bleed during a bowel movement? Problem is that in between bowel movements (once a day for me), the pile can reduce (my case an internal pile) and all is good, but then when you go to the toilet again, you irritate the bowel.

Funnily enough, sitting down is the most relieving thing when I had it.

Sitz bath may also help.
