Here we are then. The final day of Q2. And what a disappointment it has been for me. I started the quarter with high hopes of losing about a stone, but have ended up about a stone up on where I started. Willpower vanished this quarter. I'll update the Q2 thread during the weekend, so if you're reading this and haven't updated the other thread pop over.

This thread will be the same deal for Q3 - weekly (ish) chart updates to provide motivation.

If you want to have your data charted, let me know:

1) starting weight.
2) target weight for the end of the quarter (i.e not your overall weight loss goal, but what is achievable in 3 months).

My personal weight loss goal will be to get down below 85kg. I think my starting weight is likely to be ~94.

Signing up for this. I've been steadily losing roughly 0.5 kg per week since the start of the year but lost my way slightly a couple of weeks back with some bad habits (crisps mainly) creeping back into my diet. I'm hoping by reporting weekly to you lot I can knock that on the head as this has to be a proper lifestyle change for me and I just can't do that anymore.

Starting weight as of Thursday's weigh-in is 79.2 kg and as there's 13 weeks in this quarter I aim to hit 72.5 by the end of September

Good luck everyone

Getting married in September. Suit already bought but I'm hoping to have alittle less stretch on the buttons !!

Starting today at 111.2 Kg... Target 105kg to get a stone off.

Got down to this level from about 120 at the beginning of the year, but have plateaued for a couple months... Time to crack on again...

MyfitnessPal back in use, chocolate bars banned, turbo trainer for grey days, swimming a few miles each week..

Motivation not to look like the total fat knacker in wedding photos !!

80.6 kg starting weight, 78.0 kg 3 month target. Deliberately small steps for complicated reasons.

Was down to 121.6kg on friday morning so motivation is high after 20kg lost. Going to keep cracking this month although 2 weddings to attend so need to work hard so they don't have too much of an impact.

Count me in.

Started the year at 102.5kg, reduced fairly easily to 97kg and held steady for a few months but bad habits have crept back and I’ve drifted back up to 101kg.

Target for the end of Q3 = 95kg, end of Q4 = 90kg or less.

Another lurker who has decided to commit, currently 85kg and have been steadily gaining weight for the last decade or so.

Now 47 with high blood pressure and this year is when I want to do something about it before I end up on the operating table with heart problems.

So, quarterly target is 80kg. Longer term I want to lose at least 20kgs.

Another lurker here. I started to try to shed the mass at the start of June. When I weighed 95.5kg BMI of 25.2, advantage of being tall.

On 1st July I weighed 92kg BMI 24.1 having been good for most of June minus a trip to Le Mans, target weight for the end of the quarter is 85kg BMI 22.3

In, for a third attempt; 101kg this morning and want to drop 10kg by beginning of October as I'm going to Thailand and I know it'll be hot and humid and I don't do humid, dropping a few kg will help.

I dropped 5kg in January alone and got down to 97kg so I know I can do it if I put my mind to it, 3.3kg a month sounds doable.

Please chart my data!

Apolgies for absence, back in!

I'm well back into the world of work and have started doing my Cardiac Rehab course (circuit training at hospital, heart rate measured etc) twice a week for 6 weeks and all going well. I'm really enjoying getting back into exercise - it had become something of a chore to me previously.

I'm currently 15st 0lbs, not sure what that is in new money KGs. Still targeting 14st.

Summer is always a difficult one for me - I have a very active social life and go to a lot of music festivals, which largely means a lot of very enjoyable all-day boozing! We are doing fewer this year for obvious reasons (I had a heart attack on 31/03/2017 at age 44) and I am still sticking religiously to 'no booze Mon-Thurs'. Let's see how we fare with a more modest approach.

Can I join in? I've been going since December but have only lost about 25 lb, as I'll stall for weeks at a time. I am doing it with low carb high fat but have to be ultra strict for any momentum. I did take up running as well , but have paused due to injury.

I need to lose at least that much again. It would be fantastic to get another 25 lb off before Christmas.

Good start to Q3 dropping down to 120.4kg this morning however I have a BBQ tonight so that may do some damage.

down 1.5kg after a few days at the gym, good food choices and completely forgetting to eat one day owing to being far too busy....

Got a weekend of garage clearing ahead as need to make space for the incoming Exige - need to shift a bit more weight to get in and out of that more easily too!!!

84kg at the gym this morning, down a kilo over the last week and a half.

Healthy eating, fewer pub trips (2 in that time period) with fewer beers when there must have helped, however no sweets, cakes or biscuits at all were the main contributor I think.

Seeing some old Uni friends this weekend so will be trying to take it easy on the beers on Saturday night.......
