After investigations I bought Eurovital DHEA 50mg. 60 capsules.
I'm also a fan of AAKG but cycle it with creatine. Although you can buy the two pre-mixed now I like to keep them separate as I take the AAKG as I'm on the way out.

only been on it a few days but the pump when training is vastly increased, feels more painful to almost cramp like but in a good way, more like how it felt many moons ago, be interesting to see how it compares on an 8wk cycle to what i usually do with the arg & orn, a much bigger reaction so far.

Gonna give that a go, looks good I'm really intruiged by this whole DHEA stuff, but my bks are already like walnuts and I don't want them to shrink any more!
Seriously though...who on here has actually taken DHEA and for how long and at what dose please?
I'm amazed at myself for saying this, but i'd be tempted on a short cycle to help with an impending 'cut'.

By and large, DHEA is a waste of time, as with most other supps.
High(ish) doses for extended times didn't really do much of note, and there is potential for oestrogen related sides. For the older gent, or women, there might be a bit more point. But generally, save your money IMO.
Most supps (non steroid ones) maybe count towards 2-4% of total progress/gains, collectively. Focus is best spent on the other 96-98%- training, diet, sleep, recovery etc.

Depends what you see as supplements and what you see as diet. Many people are very much deficient in terms of micronutrients and other things that can, in theory, be obtained through diet but are not (fish oil is another good example).
Sorry- I use diet to encompass getting all your macros, and then micronutrients. Supplements covers extras- creatine, DHEA and such like (along with other super doses of certain things, that you can't easily achieve with diet alone)Halb said:
Quite, as well as goals.
DHEA seems to chime with the goals of a lot here, and I am interested in the notes from ppour and popeye
That as it may be, but trials don't exactly show it as effective, or bang for buck in any major way, particularly when potential negatives are taken into account.DHEA seems to chime with the goals of a lot here, and I am interested in the notes from ppour and popeye

I looked but only found trials that specified memory trials, have you a link to others?

Most studies are on Menopausal women, and there's a load of bumf about how effective it is. Generally it's not up to much.

Seems to be the case (IIRC) that the older male might benefit more if at all and also anecdote from lifting fora suggests many men swear by the long-term health benefits. I have to say I wouldn't do more than a three week cycle, as my sleep became very light after that time. Aggression definitely up though. Would I do it again? Mmmm...well I found the sides less unpleasant than GHB sides, and my workouts more productive so...maybe.Not a study, but interesting none the less - https://examine.com/supplements/dehydroepiandroste...

Next up 5 weeks of C and AAKG, then a short cycle over spring/summer of something guaranteed anabolic. Unless life gets in the way lol.

SO before i knew what was wrong with my shoulder (turns out it was scar tissue preventing it from healing, which has now been removed), i tried MK677 and Ostratine via capsule format (to help the shoulder heal quicker).
Quick round-up of my experience.
Positives
Strength quickly returned to my left shoulder (right shoulder is/was fked)
Arms got bigger
Negatives
Would need to train for atleast 2 hours a day to get the HGH (or whatever it is) appetite
Got 'fat' as i kept eating but didnt have the HGH appetite
Ive got about a weeks supply left which i might as well take to see if it will help with the recovery as just been cleared for light weights
I'm returning to some minor lifting after a while out, I've got apparently a front shoulder capsule injury which is progressing, but I'd like to help it along.Quick round-up of my experience.

Currently doing 5x5 which I used to do (previous top 5 DL 250kg, squat 185, BP 125) and weights are a way off, but getting better.
How do you think your combo might help the injury recovery as well as total performance?
thanks
Probably best to ask others on here tbh. For me, my left side regained its 'strength' quite quickly but my right was fked and degenerated (i didnt know at the time of the scar tissue) but from my limited research, in theory it should help (some will say its a placeabo and i wouldnt argue with them) but the main stuff to help seemed to be the stuff you inject - which im not really wishing to go down that route.
Im currently just doing bodyweight stuff (in the main) and stretching to get the motion back and then ill look into it again i imagine as i just want to get back to normal asap
