Hearing Aids - how goes it?
Discussion
Depends on the environment.
Like anything, the higher the workload, the more fuel will be used.
So if you work in a library, your battery will last longer than it would if you work in a very noisy environment.
Ditto using things like an induction hook -

A wee pro-tip...
Periodically dry the hearing aid mould and your ear. Moisture can cause the mould to move and this create feedback.
Just get a tissue and give your ear a quick run around, ditto the mould.
Everything is fastidiously dry and clean, fortunately I’ve got an appointment on Wednesday for a checkup. Hopefully they can sort it as I’ve already got used to it Periodically dry the hearing aid mould and your ear. Moisture can cause the mould to move and this create feedback.

Persist, it took about half a dozen trips to get mine right. It's totally worth it, I love mine. Noisiest pub ever last night, I could hear every word

Your footsteps and the loose change in your pocket will freak you out when you first step outside, it passes...

I take it your aid has directional mics / background noise cancelling software?Awesome, isn't it? Real game-changer.
I get a lot of background noise and windrush but my brain filters it out. I'd rather have too much noise than too little. I can turn it down a bit but I rarely do
It's took a lot of fettling but it's about there now. My tubes don't seem to last long but my audiology dept are very good at letting me have spares.

The squeaking door hinges in my house were driving me mad. I had lived in that house for years and had never noticed it.
