What happened to all the 'I only want to lift raw' stuff? Straps, knee straps, belt - you hardly had to put any effort in yourself! laugh

Just kidding, mate - nice , slick lift.

Thanks everyone.

I always wear knee sleeves. They don’t contribute anything to a lift, but they keep my old and slightly buggered knees warm in the cold garage!

As for the straps - I didn’t feel up to two attempts so didn’t want to risk missing without and then trying again with. I’ll try again in a few weeks without straps.

Belt I have no idea why I used it. It does nothing for me on deadlifts.

I agree with DD that I could lift a bit more, but I think my form would suffer a bit.

Legs>

Front squats: F 200kg, 4x 150kg
Back: up to 1x 220kg
Leg press: 8x 540kg, 20x 420kg
GHR: 2x RPF
Leg ext: 1x RPF

I think front squats will be kept light as a warm up to back squats. My rack position fails way before my legs. However, when I moved to back squats- they felt awesome, very strong with nice drive through the glutes (which hasn't happened for a long time- actually accelerated the whole way). So I'll use fronts as a heavyish warm up and mobiliser for backs form now on.

Ahh. I do 'Cindy' sometimes, it's a nice workout if one is away, or somewhere with no kit.

So the murph minus the 2 runs, just watched a vid clip, so many people lose time on the pull ups.

Why do people feel the need to pick up weights and then perform their excercises directly in front of the weight racks. So annoying.

Murph is meant to be done with a 9kg weights vest or body armour
