You doing Miss Bikini? smile

Yesterday, hilly 40km on the bike, then a long sea swim, finished off with 60 pull ups.

Today, full body workout then a super tough race on Zwift, then a 40 minute sea swim.

I'm on the alpha designs stand if anyone is there tomorrow and wants to come over for a chat.

First gym since August 12th, very surprised to have lost very little. Last workout I pushed 125kg flat bench and 45kg incline flys, today 120kg and 40kg. Tentative, easy workout but toes back in the water.

Seen some of your lifting there, very impressive! The mens open BB looks like a decent line up.

Yesterday, 50km on the bike, then a really good chest session at the gym, wife and son came too, love the dynamics of a family workout, topped out with a 110kg for 6 on the incline bench, then 15 minutes of sledge hammer work and bag lifting, then a long sea swim in the evening. Today, 45 hilly kilometers on the bike then a back session, loads of rows and pull ups, then a fabulous sea swim done a huge tide at sunset, magic

I think as i get back I'll switch the db press to the machine press for a bit as i can push it with my palms without gripping it.
Reduce the weight, focus on form, slow the eccentric movement right down.

You will feel it. Rest first, allow the inflammation to subside.

Today, fairly easy hour on the bike, then 60 pull ups, also a very rough dip in the water, conditions were basically on the edge for my safety tonight.

Today, brutal race on Zwift, legs were in a proper mess by the end, earlier had done 300 press ups and 60 pull ups at home, then 20 minutes in the sea.

Good few days for me.
Friday 270kg fully raw deadlift moved fast
Played with a 78kg Thomas inch dumbbell picking it up.
Saturday rowed the dumbbell
Sunday rowed the dumbbell again then pressed it overhead for a PB laugh
Monday 340kg deadlift that moved so quick I fell over!
Yesterday 120kg x5 strict press which is only around 3 reps off where I left off before starting the diet/rehab phase.

Bodyweight staying down at 128.5kg which is really interesting, usually I've ballooned back up by now so I think I've got that cracked this time.

Today, another race on Zwift, legs felt pretty good, gonna be kind too them now as I have a hilly ride planned on Sunday with around 2000m of climbing, then more pull ups then across the road for a cold sea swim.

Hilly 36km cruise, then a long sea swim, really felt the cold when I got out, was still shivering an hour later, did an early morning gym sesh too, hate early morning gym sessions.

I don't want to derail the thread but don't think this warrants starting a new one. Does anyone else struggle with sleep on the day of a big workout? I had a decent cycle yesterday and kept waking up every 2hrs last night. I've found this to be a common theme when I push myself in any endurance exercise.
