5'8" so at 84KG I was definitely getting tubby, but at 65 felling MUCH better and looking much better. I will go a little lower and try to maintain which historically has been difficult for me (and many others).
That makes sense you were well over for your height.Good luck with it.Have we got a spreadsheet going to track weight loss yet?
I'm happy to put one together and try and keep it updated if not started yet.
My next weigh in is on Monday and I've stuck to my weight watchers points thus far. Its hard work whilst i'm working/staying on this small remote site as food choice is limited and often unhealthy! Beer is also pretty much written into the contract as a requirement every evening... I might be making excuses.

01/01 - 104.4
06/01 - 101.7
13/01 - 100.3
Another kilogram down. Nice to see everyone else having good progress as well
A spreadsheet sounds a good plan. Maybe something on Google docs so we can share the updating?
Got a friends 40th party tonight, which will likely put a dent in progress (and dry Jan). Going to try and get out for a 10k run this morning to buy myself a few more calories for the day and mitigate the impact

I once managed a couple of months on weight watchers managing to save enough points each day for a bottle of wine in the evening. Not sure that was quite in keeping with the spirit of things though
136kg on 2nd January 2018
Current 132.3.
1st aim is 125kg by 9th March for my holiday in Dubai.
Final aim is 100kg and to keep it there.
1st month it falls off me. No alcohol at all January and just 1 weekend in February for a Twickenham trip.
I use my Fitness Pal app. 2500 calories a day. I’m a builder and work hard with 2 walks on a weekend of over 2 hrs each. I weigh everything I put in my mouth.
I can’t wait for light nights.
Loads of eggs, at least 6 a day. Lean pork, chicken and beef. NO BREAD. It’s the devils work.
That’s my plan. I lost 31 kg last year doing this in 7 months but put on 8kg back on since August.

Another week and a 0.6kg loss so I'm down to 100.6kg now. As of Monday I'm cutting alcohol out for 4 weeks (the timing worked better than all of Jan for me) so I'm hoping that will help but we will see. Hopefully I can replace the time I would normally spend on the sofa with a beer with a trip to the gym and that will really accelerate things.
Been trying to be good so far this month and seems to be working, was dry for the first 12 days but have since fallen off the wagon a little (no binges mind). Also been eating a little more sensibly, again not perfect but still a lot better.
Still need to get to the gym more, need to make time for it, not make an excuse to let doing/finishing work take over.
Will I weighed in at 125kg's this afternoon, down a touch on the beginning of the year.

You sound like me; dry January, I think I lasted till the 9th, I'm not massively on it and only intend to drink at the weekends.Still need to get to the gym more, need to make time for it, not make an excuse to let doing/finishing work take over.

I am keeping a good eye on my eating though and my weight is going down, I won't report in until Wednesday morning; a week after my last weigh in, check daily though and it is going down nice and steadily and I'm very pleased.
01/01/18 17st
08/01/18 16st 6
15/01/18 16st 2
Total loss of 12 lbs and more importantly my trousers feel very loose even on tightest belt notch. Aim would be to get my weight to start with a 14 preferably around the middle of 14 so about 1st 7 to go.
Well done to everyone else keep cracking away.
