I'm in - although planning on backing off the miles a bit for the next few months and try and get a bit of pre-marathon speed back wink

I like it... keeps me motivated to do an extra walk or something.

I already feel that I have a nemesis who keeps me off top spot for the steps...

Couple of 10km runs a week, plus walking to and from the station everyday for me.

I walk from Euston to the West End and back... but the day working from home is losing me 5000-7000 steps a week.

Never been a visitor to this section of the forum till I spotted this thread and joint the group on Garmin Connect, it's nice to have a challenge.

Normally I just have steps as I walk a lot at work. No other activities really die to a lack of time due to work, wife and a extension build.

So typically today I had a great day step wise, probably one of my best ever!
But the battery died on my vivoactive (seems the last update to the app is causing issues and it's only lasting a day or two currently)
My phone pedometer said I did 16000odd on top of the 1700 my watch recorded before going flat. There appears to be no way of manually adding this in. Gutted...

When I get more time I plan to get out on my bike and maybe attempt the C25K to do something about my poor fitness.

Joined!

Looking at doing a 100km trail ultra later in the year - I might win that week.

Possible that it's your privacy settings...

In the settings you will have a "profile & privacy" tab/page. You need to have the "activity" set to "my groups and connections"

Made a schoolboy error, and forgot to stop the timer after exercise irked

Anyone know if it's possible to "trim" off the last 5 mins on me wondering around the gym and changing my music... ?

Ive done that a few times with my Garmin watch, not pressing stop before driving home, a bit st that it can't recognise my running has paused for 5 minutes and then sped up to 30mph!!

I just deleted them altogether to stop it skewing data as watch/app didn't seem to offer anything.
