I started on Love Hemp (see previous comments) and then due to the lack of voucher codes my latest bottle is from Amazing Green. Both 'high end' retailers as much as you can get in this market. Both seem to work for me. The Amazing Green tastes a touch more neutral than the Love Hemp and gives me less lucid dreams if I take later in the day.

that's Dan's stuff. I'm gonna have to reread this thread. D:
CBD oil sold at a well known high street chain are not pure enough.
I've got mine online and it's not cheap. About £30 for 500mg of 10ml bottle. The site comes with lab testing certificates too.
However they only ever do 10ml bottles so I probably have to source from somewhere else.
Only started taking CBD oil for about 3 weeks but have noticed improvement in my sleep and slight improvement in anxiety.
I struggle to get over 3 hours of proper sleep and according to my Fitbit I'm averaging about 5 now.
Any opinions on Full vs Broad spectrum? I've started on Broad spectrum but find myself preferring Full.

My local Facebook page is utterly plastered with people peddling CBD oil. Given that it appears in the local chav markets, is peddled by every other instagrammer and a number of other council channels, I would verge on it being snake oil.
Happy to be proven otherwise!
It's being peddled by all these people because it's the "new thing" that they think they can get away with selling. In proper strengths it is proven to help with pain very well along with other illnesses including types of epilepsy, MS, the list goes on. So in short, it most definitely isn't snake oil but you need to make sure that it's a legitimate supply at strengths that actually do something.Happy to be proven otherwise!
Have a read here: https://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&...
All of the products available on the open market and classed as "medicinal CBD" are food supplements.
Seems that there are a lot jumping on the bandwagon to the "new" thing (seems you can get practically anything with CBD in these days ...CBD marshmallows anyone !!!!).....but they are not medicines, and there seems to be a variability in the quality and strength of what is available as they are not subject to the same strict rules that medicines are. Whether these food supplements have sufficient CBD concentration to have a therapeutic effect is variable and questionable.

Tried it, did nothing for my arthritic hands.
Reading up on it, the recommended doses and concentrations you can buy at the usual online shops will give you, maybe, 20-50mg of CBD. Scientific studies that have shown any sign of benefit have been at the 1000-2000mg level, which at the prices the shops charge is pretty much prohibitive.
The jury may well still be out but I'm waiting until we get some proper evidence and clinically approved treatments and proven dosages before jumping in again.

Ran out of my first lot of CBD, so went in and got this stuff - https://www.hollandandbarrett.com/shop/product/rap...
£20, why not.
First two nights sleep were a bit interesting. Crazy dreams.

The dreams are due to the magnesium in the product. £20, why not.

Interesting article on the H&B sold CBD oil :
https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-7956513/I...
Wonder how true is this as it's still on sale, on buy 1 get 2nd half price offer.
I have been on CBD oil about 3 months now and do find it helps with my anxiety and depression. Also seems to improve sleep.

Interested in this. I have nerve damage following an operation 15 years ago. This results in chronic pain, which I manage with Amitryptiline and Tramadol / Codeine. Frustratingly, there's nothing structurally wrong with my knee but it seems like a number of people with similar complaints have gained benefit from trying CBD.
I don't want to be on opoids for the rest of my life, so think i'll give this a crack.
For this have tried it, what do you reckon - a few drops of the 8% stuff each day?
