Just looked on the CBDBrothers website and can anyone explain the difference between the Sativa / Indica / Hybrid CBD oils and whether you would use specific ones for different conditions?
Looking to relieve lower back pain (microdisectomy many years ago) and spasms in my back muscles.

Thanks

I’m not sure what the difference is.

This is mrs p’s stash of paste. I’m not sure where the oils are

There’s no indication of whether it’s sativa or indica.

I’d give them a call.

Just ordered this on the recommendation from Dutch Natural Healing http://www.thedrinkablealternative.com

"Why is CBDactive+ better?
Traditional CBD products are fat or oil-based and cannabinoids bind to fats. The human body is geared towards breaking down fats. The consequence of this is that no more than 6 to 12% of the products ingested are absorbed by the body. CBDactive+ has been designed to ensure that the active ingredients are fully soluble in water. The very successful result is that no less than 100% of all ingredients are absorbed by the body!
In addition, CBDactive+ contains a terpenes profile that is equal to the primal hemp. Through the addition of curcumin CBDactive+ contains even more positive characteristics."

"10 ml CBDactive+ in handy dosage pump. This product has a similar effect to a 40% CBD oil.
CBDactive+ consists of the well-known Dutch Natural Healing extract mixed with a revolutionary combination of ingredients. This unique combination ensures that the active ingredients work even better for you.
CBDactive+ contains organic ingredients derived exclusively from plants. Curcumin, Myrcene, Caryophyllene, Pinene, Limonene, Linalool, CBD, CBC, CBN and CBG. The carefully chosen ingredients and their relationship to each other ensures that they enhance each other. Primal hemp is our source of inspiration in this regard.

Always a clean bottle | Handy dosage pump (0,2 ml each time) | Pleasant taste | Strong & effective | Even more healthy | Up to 3 x less expensive"

Hope it doesn't turn me into a hippy and make me want to go to festivlas, man hippy

Let us know how you get on.

Be very interesting to hear. smile

I’ve been using CBD oil for the past 9 months and it’s made such a difference in my condition ( Anklosing Spondylitis). I still have stiffness on my lower back and neck but nothing as bad as before, also far less pain.
I’ve cut down on my medication Enbrel which I was taking weekly and now only every 3-4 weeks.
The CBD oil Ive been buying has been from eBay with good reviews but after reading this thread last night, I ordered the CBDactive linked above which is stronger.
Will report back how I get on!

Hi mate,

I have tried vaping with CBD and at first it didn't do much but it seems to be taking the edge off now.

You would need to think about if you want to Vape or not. Conflicting evidence whether it is good for you or not. I doubt it is good but better than smoking. Whether I continue with this method is another matter.

Just to let you know if you go for the CBD oil you get three different types. Indica, Sativa and Hybrid.

Info

Sativa – The effects of Sativa tend to be mentally stimulating but physically relaxing. People tend to feel energetic, uplifted, and ready for physical activity or creative pursuits.

Indica – The full-body effects of Indica strains tend to be more relaxing, and are associated with calming, sedative feelings which may assist people who have trouble sleeping.

Hybrid – Hybrid strains are the result of crossbreeding cannabis sativa and cannabis indica. Each Hybrid strain has its own unique balance between Indica and Sativa, and the effects will vary accordingly based on a given strain’s ratio of the two.

I was told Indica would be the best but it is not cheap.

Hope this all helps but I am not an expert and other might have more of an idea.

I started taking the CBD oil to improve my sleep (anxiety/active mind) and there is definitely a noticeable difference in the quality of my sleep. Even if I do wake up in the middle of the night I can drop off again quite easily, whereas in the past it would have been quite difficult.

Thanks both.

Was thinking of the oil for sub lingual use. Definitely not keen on vaping.

Any ideas on doses/brands?

I'm thinking of trying some cbd oil out to help with sleep and some arthritic pain.
Does anyone have any recommendations for one they are happy with?
I was going to try out the 5% offering form h&b to see how I felt first but I see a lot of products on amazon too.
Any advice is much appreciated.

Have a good look through this thread - there’s loads of info on here.

Not great things about H&B but everyone’s different. There are some very reputable online sellers so do some reading.

Personally I would avoid amazon or eBay sellers. There is no guarantee that what you are getting is what it’s meant to be.

That’s where Mrs P gets hers. She’s never had an issue. Give them a call, have a discussion with them - they know their stuff.
They’ll send you some samples.

I have a friend who has aspergers and uses it to help control some of his more disruptive symptoms... he pretty much swears by it.

What are you looking to treat?

Thanks for the feedback.

I have a business opportunity in this sector so I'm just intrigued to hear peoples views on the product really. I've got various oils and supplement gels etc which I have tried but they don't really do much for me, then again they aren't really treating anything so I'm unsure what I am expecting! I've smoked and cooked with full blown cannabis in the past over the years and you obviously know you have taken something with that!

A couple of friends have mild anxiety and use it to treat that, they report back similarly positive feedback much like your friend in that it does the job.

There is some counter opinion that its a scam, snake oil etc etc so just garnering peoples opinions really, would be interested to hear more

:-)

Personally, it's never done anything for me in the past. Apparently good for mild anxiety and as a sleep aid but can't report anything at all positive having vaped it and used it as drops under my tongue in liquid format.

Been taking it for about 6 months, in that time I have seen a defiant improvement in sleep patterns, and I also take it to help joint pain, again a marked improvement. Take mine under the tongue in spray form.

Is this something that will help with sleep? I would rather buy from a shop than online:

Seems expensive and in my experience the tabs are better for sleep than the oil but could just be me.
