PH Losers 2020 - Anyone want to join me?
Discussion
Steve91 and TR7V8 - you've added yourselves to the old 2019 wiki, not the 2020 wiki. I've added you both to the new one - hope that's OK? If you want to reset numbers please do...
The link for the 2020 one is here.
I weigh in at Slimming World every Monday night so it's their number I'll update with, either late Monday or on Tuesday at some stage.
My situation is also a little trickier though as it's entirely possible that any fat loss may well be offset by muscle gains at present but the overall trend should still be a downward one for me! I'm seeing really good strength gains at the moment, especially on legs and back. Shoulders, chest and arms are taking a little more time to get the message...

Might join in, I'm planning my first weight in tomorrow night when I wake up for night shifts, I'm planning to enter a Jiu Jitsu competition in the under 76kg weight class in April which means I need to be under 74 to weight in (2kg gi). I was sitting at about 80kg before Christmas.
few years ago I lost 35kg (over 2 years)
Funk I reckon you should also do a 2020 line so people can see this years progress as well as the total?

I'm an idiot, cheers for doing that!Edited by Funk on Wednesday 1st January 23:16
2011-2012 I lost 50kg/8 stones. I was 119kg at my best. I’m 184cm/ 6ft 2inch. Very broad.
Ran a marathon in 2012.
Did White Collar boxing in 2017. As fit as I’ve ever been but then I hurt my knee which really set me back.
I’m now 150.2kg.
I drink way too much. I do eat clean on the whole but I’ve been back on it now in a big way.
Office based job.
The change starts now.

I'm tempted to join in with this, not sure exactly what I weigh but expect it's between 105 and 110kg, should be in the 80's.
I'm thinking of a goal of 80kg's and if I achieve it I'll buy a classic formula ford to race. Last time I tried and eat sensibly and exercise more I lost around 2.5 stone quite quickly.

I'm in...
I'm 6ft, and thought about joining the last couple of years but haven't signed up, so have decided to go for it this time.
I started last year around 115kg and worked on running/biking and MFP calorie counting got myself down to 104kg by the summer, but then got lazy and am currently back up at 110kg. My goal is to get back on it and get the weight down and fitness up - and most importantly, maintain it this time. Aiming to get BMI down below 25, so need to shift 20kg, but will start by trying to get below 95kg.
As the OP of the couch 2 5k thread on here, I am going to get back on the treadmill - I find myself having trouble getting out to run, but once I've done it, feel very pleased and actually quite enjoy it, so need to establish a routine.
Good luck all, and let's hope we are all seeing positive results on here in a year's time!

I’m in. Will weigh myself later on.
Weight has slowly crept up over last 18 months.
I’m probably around 16st. 6 years ago I was 11.5st. 10 years ago i was 18.5st. So I know I can do it.
A thread similar to this helped all those years ago.
106kg this morning so 0.5st more than expected.Weight has slowly crept up over last 18 months.

Target weight by April is 90kg or 14.5st.
Let’s do this!
My problem is the booze, so plan is to drink one day a week (although not for the whole day ...) and increase that to two once I’ve shed some fat.
Weight is 81.7 kg, height 180 cm. Waist is 39 cm (was 32 when I started work - but that was about 25 years ago and I was too skinny then so aim to get down to 34). According to my scales that equates to body fat of 24.1% (aiming for 15 - realistic?) and a BMI of 25.5.
Plan is to supplement cutting out the booze with alternate day fasting, running (treadmill for interval sessions, longer runs outside) and kettlebell/bodyweight exercises.
Started the day today with a pint of water and a ginger tea. Used the kettlebell (goblet squats and slingshot) and am scheduled to have a speed interval session on the treadmill this evening.

18 stone 5lbs. 1lb short of my heaviest ever.
Want to shift 4 stone which will be an unprecedented weight loss for me.
Basically I am going to bin carbs.
All bran with almond milk for breakfast.
Carrots for mid morning snackage.
Bowl of soup and salad for lunch, no croutons, no bread, no spuds, no rice, pasta.
Dinner, fish or meat with veg, no spuds.
I know it works for me, just have to stick to it.

Signing up for the same reasons as everyone else.
86kg @ 180cm. Looking to get back to 80kg in time for the summer.
Not looking for a quick fix. None of this "10 almonds for breakfast and 60g of protein for lunch" stuff for me. Just cutting out the obvious excesses and being more committed to exercising properly. If it doesn't work I will revisit...

Just added my info...I think?
Always put on weight in the winter, and am currently 85.3kg compared to 79kg back in July.
Will be 15 years in June since I first went on holiday with my now wife, and at the time I was 75kg and would love to get down to that weight again.
Intermittent fasting and doing 16/8 will be my go to plan coupled with hitting the gym 3 times a week rather than twice, plus a few walks with the dogs and kids.

Good idea, I think I can just add an extra column in to tweak it; should be slightly neater...scjgreen - I've altered your line too to match the new layout, are you happy with that?
