I feel like the people who disagree with swathes of scientific evidence sometimes do so because it makes them feel smarter. Like they see things other people can’t. But it is actually the other way round.

I see it with my friend, constantly reposting her sisters ‘research’ on Instagram with a ‘makes you think x’

Could you give a breakdown of what you think are the long-term possible issues, specifically?
Infertility, dementia, Parkinson’s, neurological disorders to mention a few. However they have been discounted and for the purposes of those diseases they might as well be injecting water. As I’ve said already without any vaccinations there’s a very good chance of catching Covid if it’s not arrested and then:
10% chance of hospitalisation then
30% chance of death
Not to mention long Covid
A 1 in 10 chance of hospitalisation in the general population ? What scottyferguson book of facts are you pulling that from?

This is exactly why conspiracy nuts think the way they do.

...actually the last 7 days has been 15% of +ve tests, or are you going to argue the 4 days lag etc etc will bring it down to so significantly less than 10% that it was worth your post??

If 33% of people never had a test, for whatever reason, and never bothered to go to a test centre and be recorded then 10% would be achieved. As such a huge number is unlikely then the rate of hospitalisation (including untested) is undoubtedly higher than 10%, but less than 15%.

And we know this affects the younger.

And we know only Covid chooses who.

So...... GET A VACCINE!!

Conspiracy theories allow idiots to feel like intellectuals.

No it's not, that's just twee bks that massages your own fragile ego. I bet there are loads of areas of your life where other people are best suited to look after your interests, so you let them. Your car mechanic, your dentist, your doctor, your financial advisor etc.

The best people to look after the overall health of the nation, me included, during a pandemic, are scientists, immunologists, and other experts in the field. Not me, I don't know enough about it.
Second time I’ve ever agreed with you thumbup
Christ....maybe I've got it wrong hehe
Maybe you have. Are you suggesting every car mechanic gets it right every time?

Well they get it right more often that I would, so saying I'm the best person to look after my car servicing and repair issues is clearly nonsense.

Wait how many of hyphen are being admitted because of THE VIRUS OF UNKNOWN ORIGIN rather than with it?

Cos I’ll bet 100% of people in hospital right now drank dihydrogen monoxide but we aren’t banning that.

I am intrigued as to why so many medics globally are declining the vaccine.
Interesting because my OH is a Consultant who collaborates with hundreds of medics all round the globe - he’s said that every single Doctor he knows /works with is clamouring for it. He’s very critical of ‘information’ (he’s a specialist in clinical trials /new drug development) he’s going to have it.

You are of course basing that statement on an odds ratio calculation for water drinking and covid infection in hospitalised patients and the general population, yes? No?

An anti vaxxer I read yesterday isn’t getting the vaccine because they don’t trust Doctors.

Apparently they have cured cancer but make more money from keeping it secret.

How do you deal with someone like that? Do you try to correct him or just leave him to it?

If you significantly alter the pH of your body, you will definitely not die of cancer. But don't tell anyone I told you.

A saying goes
"it's difficult to win a disagreement with an intelligent person,
it's impossible to win with a stupid person "
