Heart beat

My heart beat is averaging 54-57 beats a minute, I have been on blood pressure tablets for about 15 years now, does that make any difference as when I googled my heart beat rate it says average should be 60-90 beats a minute.
Just thought I would check here first before I TRY and make a doctors appointment,
OH, I have also just got over Prostate Cancer if that’s any help

Don't worry about it. I asked a similar question about a slightly fast heart rate and was told that consistently below 50 or over 100 is probably worth investigating otherwise it's a non issue.

I have just brought a blood pressure machine and for the last 20 readings my heart beat has been between 55-60 beats per minute and when I googled it it said it was to low, buy the way my BP is normal.....
Many thanks for putting my mind at rest.......now I have hit 66 years of age,I thought I better start checking things out......
