I booked mine at the first available opportunity a couple of days ago.

I had reservations about it due to the developing blood clots situation but I don’t fundamentally distrust the science or motivation so ended up going for it.

A significant proportion (although probably not as much as half) of my friends have told me they won’t be getting the vaccine.

31 and got my first one in January. Not for health reasons, but dropped an elderly couple off who had crashed on the way to theirs and they said they had extras left over so got ours at the same time.

Girlfriend (22) had hers the day after due to her job.

Best friend was the only person I know who was talking of not getting it. She got it at work (paramedic) and then changed her mind.

Everyone I know around my age is getting it.

Im 38 and wouldn’t take one.

Feel like there is a comparable amount of risk with the vaccine than Covid.

Plus I already had Covid and brushed it off.

I also think the travel advantage is overblown. No countries are giving an easier ride to vaccinated people yet

Finally, I disagree with the coercion etc for people who the vaccine doesn’t really benefit.

Will take it if I’m my backs against the wall but hoping it fizzles out before I have to.
I agree with everything you’ve said in principal, I’m 39 but I have had my first jab, if everyone that thought the same skipped their vaccine we’ll be in this mess for a lot longer, I feel like last year was a bit crap, I don’t want anymore like that!

Also the longer it goes on for, the more chance there is of a nasty mutant!

I did 2 days ago.

Did it under slight duress. It won't benefit me medically but the powers that be are determined to make normal life as difficult as possible for those who don't get the vax.

I've had 7 reminder texts, note the last line of the last text.

My OH is pregnant and won't be having it.

Early 30s had my first Pfizer. I phoned on the off chance as my wife who is younger got a text. Turns out doctors had an old landline as the only contact number , had it done same day as they had spare.

Heavy arm for a couple of days the only side effects we had. Mainly for travel purposes as we are booked to go away September.

I'm 35. I have no plans to get it. Fit and health (as I can be with 15months of being alone). Covid is yet to pose a threat in my view. If it starts killing in the millions I'll consider it. Travel may be a problem but surely a T-cell or antibody test would do too. I also don't trust this vaccination. It's way to new and hasn't had years of testing. I also would like my body to fight this disease the way it was meant too.

Had a text, letter and now a phone call. If they keep doing that, vaxing me will be the least of their issues.

I’m not usually one for having jabs and on the vaccine side effect thread I’ve said I was reluctant to having it!

BUT there’s only one way we are going to beat this virus, and 2 of my customers have had covid and nearly died and now suffering with long covid snd they said to me dont f**k about get the jab it’s awful, and another customer who died of covid!

I’m told the Indian variant is seriously affecting younger people and especially those that are unvaccinated!

As I said at the start I was very reluctant and built myself up in a frenzy BUT today I got the Pfizer at 9.30am and I’ve had no side effects apart from a sore arm!

Get the jab! Imagine catching it and ending up in hospital on a ventilator and potentially dying

I’m 37

Also they’re going to make it impossible to do anything or go abroad unless you’ve had it

We may not see the side effects for years to come... We just don't know. Hopefully not. I focus on numbers not the news. The news is trying to scare you. That's how it works

39, already had both doses, was a little further up the list due to having had a stroke.

But I'd get it even without that. I can't actually name any person I know who's turned it down or said they're not going to get it.

38... had 1st Pfizer jab last week. Zero symptoms.

  1. Want to get back to normal. Hate staying at home.
  2. Don't fancy catching covid. Will take my chance on the jab. Personal risk/reward works out.
  3. Travel internationally for family, work and pleasure regularly
  4. whatever you personally think, restrictions are based on vaccine uptake and illness rates.
Just want to crack on now

My friends and work colleagues have overwhelmingly taken the vaccine.

Fully expecting no symptoms on the second jab, and if that's the case then i dont see what the fuss is about.

Have stopped reading the broken record of PH covid threads. All the PH anti vax "I'm not anti vaccine but..." crew are the ones that sound like scared hand wringers to me. Do what you like in private, just put a fking mask on for 5 minutes at the shop... and get on with your life!

Life's too short to let it bother me especially now the pubs are open and you can go meet people to have a pint, some food. Its been ste but it's basically done now and the UK is ahead of the global curve of getting back to normality.

After work I'm going to go to the gym, and then probably pop to town and chop a few pints to celebrate.

37 got the letter and text last week, we have a vaccination centre at the bottom of our road literally 2 minute walk but the closest one I can book at is 3.5miles away.

So not bothered yet.

I’ve got a few mates around 30, and their enthusiasm for the jab seems to be just as high as those around my age (40s) or older.

It’s got nowt to do with me what they choose to do (and I truly admire their selflessness as the risk to them is near zero). Because they’re only offered the Pfizer or Moderna jab I do make them aware of this, as it contains information they won’t receive from the WHO, NHS or Government:

I hope you also make them aware of some of Prof Seneff’s other writings and views, so that they can make a balanced decision.

Does anyone know how many people under 30 have died from covid? Pointless having a jab for something that is not a risk imo but could have unknown long term consequences.

6 people in the UK died yesterday from Covid, some of these had already had their jabs. It's just ridiculous that they are trying to vaccinate young, healthy people.

29 and had mine (Pfizer) last week.
Sore arm, felt dizzy on day 2 but that may have been my fault over exerting myself with DIY.

It's going to be a requirement for my job soon, no jab no job.
They did the same with yellow fever.

Yup. Mines is the 5th. Not only will it make travel easier, cheaper in places with no test, I also get to finish work 2 hours early to go get it. That itself is enough for me.

I do believe anyone who refuses it on non medical grounds should not be allowed to participate in life. If they want to continue being locked in forever then allow it. Get them neck collars like running man that go off when they attempt to escape there house. OK I'm taking the P a bit. My point stands.

I’m 30. Had my first jab in feb. I work in healthcare. Was the AZ jab before all the clotting nonsense came out. Felt really rough for 12 hours then as buy magic I was fine.
Second jab was beginning of the month. Same symptoms but less severe.
I have no mates that won’t take the jab when offered. We want to get back to normal. If the jab allows that then jab away.

38 and had it for various reasons as discussed above. Makes it easier to see my dad and my sons mum has heath issues which means the virus would fk her up. Would also likely have to get vaccinated to go on the more interesting work trips.

Most of the people I know 30 to 40 who are against it are those that share anti eu memes which is ironic. They're also fat knackers whos weekends involve shoveling a tonne of gak up their snozz but for some reason don't want the vax in their precious body.

Handful of normal looking women on dating apps against it too.
