The purpose of this topic is to lose weight, get in shape and receive a few rollickings from our resident taskmaster, Tyresmoke.

Add your name to the list by posting your intent to participate and include your starting weight. Add any other info you like such as a goal etc. Try to post updated weights once a week on a Saturday and I will continue to edit this post to add subsequent weights. Love it.

Hope it all works out, are you going to follow a training plan?

You’ve got plenty of time but I’d say some structure to avoid injury would be very useful?

To me the risk is overdoing it and knackering yourself on the way.

I can't speak for @sheetsmaself but a training plan will probably improve chances of success

You're on. Get a weigh scales photo up in the next few days/week mind, so i know you're not already 75kg and planning on eating lots wink

(if you are 75kg, ask a 103kg friend to stand there instead) wink

Alright lads

I'm in - covid has been a disaster for me on the snacks and booze front. Time to fix that. I'll take a weight in the morning and join you.

I'm saying now, I'm not starving myself and I'm not giving up a beer or two. I will exercise though, and even join a gym if necessary, but I hate running and I hate weights.

I don't mind rowing and have a machine at work which is good.

Actually when I say I'm not starving myself, I mean I will eat sensibly. Just not shakes and salads.

I’m in! Well from Monday as tomorrow is my Christmas dinner!

Found a local gym that looks perfect…£47 a month which is more than I’d like to pay but no more than groups of three/four and with a personal trainer during that time twice a week. Maybe three times included. Just want I need!

Another fatty here!

1/1/22 I’m starting 75 hard as an initial kick. I have to drop 50 lbs in 2022, preferably in 6-8 months.

Can I join in too please?!
