What does the 70.3 mean
As per Fiat's answer. I've signed up for another one in September in Weymouth.I'm having two weeks out of structured training for recovery with some very unstructured training, and eating kinda what i want before i start again for a 12 week plan for September on the 27th. Weight is already starting to creep up. Will be doing the 140.6 for 2023 and will be embarking on a 8 month structured training plan in October. Very excited!
Was at Gardener's World Live over the weekend at the NEC in Birmingham, so miles and miles of walking around the venue, and to & from the hotel. However, Good Food Live was also part of the same show, and there were dozens of stands offering samples of all sorts of delicious and delightful food & alcohol, plus bars & restaurants in and around the hotel, so avoiding indulgence was difficult. Managed to keep my weight broadly static, lost a little bit but not significant. Back on the case this week.
Back to it today.
I've not done anywhere near enough exercise in the last 12 months for various excuses, but moved house last week which now means I can get back to commuting to work on the bike. That's the incentive I need to be strict on portion control, ease up on the beers at the weekends, and get back into the routine.
21-06-22 - 91.8kg with a target of 80kg
I'll also do monthly FTP tests to see how my fitness is changing and track this along with weight.
Plan is to keep on top of portions and less alcohol intake, combined with a gradual increase in time on the bike, and some yoga work a few times a week to increase flexibility (have struggled with numerous strains and muscle tightness over the last year)

I'm here for a rollocking!
After losing 1.5st at the start of the year I feel off the wagon! But lets sort this out once and for all.
I'm currently at 23st2.8lbs and aiming to get below 20st by the start of the rugby season in September.
Add me to the rollocking list! After losing 1.5st at the start of the year I feel off the wagon! But lets sort this out once and for all.

Lost about 16 lbs but have put 8lbs back on. Stressful times at work, huge amounts of boozing and eating crap.
Starting again today.
Been a month since I hit my target weight, I seem to have reached a happy balance in diet/exercise. The weight is actually still coming off, but at a slower rate, aiming now to increase muscle volume which in theory will help to keep the weight off!
Overall really glad for taking part in this thread, my weight was 100% heading the wrong way as I hit 'middle age', hopefully I've set my self up to staying lean going forwards rather than fat blob territory I was definitely on-course for 6 months ago

Right so after a full week (Last Friday to today) of clean eating, 1800-2000k per day but relatively little exercise.
I'm now weighing in at 23st0.4lbs - Loss since last week is 4.6lbs.
I'm happy with that but know I could do more with some exercise.
I'm feeling good, even decided against a fry up this morning as don't want to ruin it so early on.

Just 0.5kg off this week. Treat day Friday (pizza) but then a family BBQ on Sunday. Rest of the time been very good, although not as active as recent weeks.
Hoped to have passed the 10kg threshold but have to be next week (9.6kg currently).
Why wouldn’t you move the treat day to a Sunday and use the BBQ as a treat? It’s effectively two treats…Hoped to have passed the 10kg threshold but have to be next week (9.6kg currently).

if I had such discipline, I wouldn't be on the fat fkers thread! In my defence, the BBQ was quite a last minute thing. I ate one sausage only from the cooked meat, but the savoury dishes and breads are my downfall. Treat day was last night this week as my lad finished his GCSE exams. thehammer said:

That's a great loss for a week. It does feel good losing weight, it just takes a while. Not sure what diet you are on, but my Slimming World style (not a paying member at the mo!) I can have a fry up. Bacon fat trimmed off, egg (in fry lite), tomatoes, beans, mushrooms. I'm happy with that but know I could do more with some exercise.

Not following any kind of diet really, just making better choices. E.g Heathy meals/cooking methods, not doubling up on carbs in a single meal, sensible portions and better choices and the biggest one for me is no picking between meals or quality scheduled snacks. My biggest blocker to losing weight is my poor relationship with food rather than knowledge of the right foods to be eating (I think) but I'm feeling positive that this time i can make the change and the results will give me the metal strength to overcome using food as a crutch for stress/boredom/feeling good

Haven't weighed in for 18 days - holiday for a week and reduced exercise due to 2 broken fingers
Of course that has led to a loss in weight of 1.2kg ????? suspect this is mainly dehydration and the start of reducing muscle mass though so not a positive .
Loss so far this year 15.2kg (89.1 to 72.9kg)
I need to really focus on my diet as my motivation is zero at the minute . My diet and exercise always go hand in hand and when i can't hit the gym my eating usually goes pot and my drinking increases . Going to be a testing few weeks.

No change from above which is great as I enjoyed an excessive Father’s Day eating and drinking binge
Gym work still limited due to the broken fingers but did 4 sessions this week making the best of things. Walking reduced due to the weather and my hands throbbing in the heat. Hopefully next week I can up the walking a bit.
I’m 2kg under my target weight which I want to maintain as I’m in New York in 4 weeks time and that will be 10 days of excess!
