All good replies, thanks for helping a fella in need biggrin
One thing I have noticed is, I’m not waking with an erection, or experiencing ANY unless sex is initiated. I can go days without one. Just put it down to age.
I’ve googled CES and I don’t recognise the symptoms as any I’m experiencing.

Stress isn’t an issue. If anything, I’m too laid back.

Also, I don’t think erectile dysfunction is an issue yet. I can get it up, it’s just not as strong as in my 30’s/40’s. Ejaculation isn’t a problem. If anything, it’s too good as I go a long time between sessions and come too quick.

Should I not accept it as an age related problem then? I’ve booked an appt at the sexual health clinic on Friday.

rofl

Another vote for getting your blood and hormones looked at and and even a consult with a endocrinologist if you can.

Get t-levels checked as mentioned.

Good foods for “sexual drive” are… nuts hehe

Also be aware that reduced numbers of or difficulty getting an erection can be linked to heart issues.

I know this doesn't help the OP in this situation, but isn't it a shame that we feel we have to to be anonymous or hide away when discussing these types of issues, both men and women. Its similar with mental health. The world would be a much better place and people would suffer less if we could have these conversations out in the open.

On the bright side, having this issue has cured his illiteracy. He was able to type "erectile dysfunction" into the computer no problem and read complex medical websites.

Every cloud.....

If you have back problems you may have issues with a herniated disc lower down. That can cause lack of sensation down there. Do you ever get any sciatica type symptoms?
Google cauda equina syndrome and act quickly - as in A&E - if you have any suspicion.
Naahhh, you need to be pretty much paralysed for all that.
This is absolutely not true.

agree, although in this case it doesn't seem like he's suffering CA, although long term back problems and a broken sausage are definitely reasons to speak to a GP at the very least

Surprised Cialis or Viagra hasn’t come up as a solution more for increased lead in your pencil.

It must be very common at 50 and pretty safe.

You can even microdose Cialis 2.5mg daily for improved blood flow 24/7 (officially approved regimen, not self medicated.)

You haven't mentioned whether Mrs P (or is it Mrs F) is happy with things.

If she is then maybe you needn't worry. The last thing you need is to increase your sex drive or to be walking around the house with a daily erecrion if she's not fussed.

A mismatched sex drive can lead to anger and resentment, and lead you into doing foolish things. Believe me...

Just another point of view.

Yikes. Googled that. 25% at 50+, 40% at 60+.

Thankfully, I'm in the 75%. Nothing to do with being in good shape, I'm sure. biggrin
