my pharmacy sometimes ask for a video of me stepping onto the scales including my face and the readout. Just as well i have a dual camera phone otherwise it would be challenging.

I found chasing new suppliers was getting too hard with ever increasing restrictions so I reverted to my original supplier IQ Doctor. They send through £30 offers every month so 2.5mg would be £149 & 5mg is £169. Still only just about affordable.

Yeh sounds like its getting harder to keep jumping.

Day 29: First 5mg dose today. Weigh in this morning shows only a 0.6kg loss over the week. 5.4kg in total over the first four weeks which I m happy with.

I m hoping the jump will be beneficial. I really feel I ve been working on mostly willpower, it s not been an easy couple of weeks.

I have the leftover golden dose from the 2.5mg in the fridge still.. is it worth keeping or binning?
The golden dose is not worth keeping if you are not going to use it.

I've always used mine before starting the next pen.

If you keep the pens in the fridge they don't go off.

Hi guys sorry to butt in but I’m new to this thread and have some questions.

I see there are 2 main types of pen, wegovy or moujorno. Is one better/more suitable than the other? I see wegovy is now available by tablet? Other than convenience is there any material difference?

I while ago (years) i went down the process of starting the application for the jabs, they wanted interviews, photos in underwear etc etc and I just couldn’t be bothered with it all. Has that changed now? My BMI is 35 so will they want evidence?

Sorry for all the beginner questions!

From what I understand Wegovy is a bit cheaper, but MJ has a dual action, so suppresses appetite but also reduces the level of sugar in the blood. Im on MJ and its been amazing. Ive dumped 13kg and about 8cms off my belly in 3 months.

I went via Juniper. Had to answer a few questions and upload 2 photos (front and side on) that was it. Didn't specify underwear shots but that's what I did.

As long as no dose taken and still sealed. Once you have taken a dose they must be used within 4 weeks then binned.

Answering the newbies question, Wegovy is 2 actions and Mounjaro is 3. Some people react to either better. I've been on Mounjaro almost 16 months now (26th Feb 2025 started) and have lost 9 stone 12. My target is 12 stone so just over 2 stone to go. I am also titrating back down now and never got to the top dose as never felt needed and had c3 months on each level whem stepping up.

Now in good habits and doing a lot more exercise as able to having shed the body baggage. Good luck!

Mmm… i am sure the manufactures say this but real world it does matter. I microdose from a 10mg pen over a two months and it works just fine.

Don't mention micro dosing on here, or the chubby police will be on you.
I mentioned i micro dosed a 5mg MJ 6 months ago and they were straight on my back.
I've lost 18lb since coming off MJ in February, but weighted myself this morning and put on a lb. Went to sons wedding yesterday, so will put that down to the food, alcohol and the bar of chocolate that I had last night, with a bottle of red.

Given the price increases it s bonkers to NOT use the bulk buying / microdosing method to keep costs down. 10mg and i take 5mg every week. Not a massive saving but every little helps.

I best keep quiet that i now inject twice per week as my body cant handle a single massive dose, split over 4 days i am absolutely fine. .One of the reasons i would like to to a daily tablet is that i can avoid the high/low of a weekly dose.

I guess this might open a can of worms

I was only on MJ for 4 months, 2.5mg. It's a lot more expensive in Spain. I did 2, 2.5mg pens and 1, 5mg pen over 2 months. Bought another 5mg pen, but found it didn't need it, so sold it.

Go on then, explain the mechanism by which they become unusable if kept in the fridge after first use.

Compounded Tirzepatide (so if anything less sterile than Mounjaro) has been tested for 180 days at room temperature with close to zero degradation. It s fine. You can even freeze and thaw it multiple times with no appreciable effects on efficacy.

The only real “risk” with using the same pen long term would be if small amounts of blood get drawn back into the pen during injection, if you really wanted to minimise anything like this you should be using a needle to extract the liquid from the pen rather than using the plunger/screw on needle method. But it s _very_ low risk.

I'm not a clinician and I'm guessing neither are you. MJ is a controlled drug and personally I have no intention of using it outside of the regulated instructioms that come with it. You do you of course, but on a forum where others come for advice I think we should stick to things like 'which supplier is cheapest etc' and how we are all getting on with it rather than suggesting going against regulated manufacturer guidelines.

Drugs are certified for storage under the conditions specified. Nobody is going to pay to certify how safe or effective it is when stored/used other than intended. It’s an unknown, at your own risk.

I think one person on a forum shouldn’t be able to tell another person on a forum what they should and shouldn’t be allowed to post as long as what’s being posted is within the rules of the forum.

it's not really about that. One person is saying stick to the rules - that does not mean the person owns the rules. The other person saying fk it just break the rules is not only wrong but also posting dangerous advice, when this is clearly an area they have no expertise in. It isn't an equivalent position on either side of that debate (which isn't a debate by the way - just do what you're meant to do).

No experience myself, but Our Lass is on Mounjaro. The weight loss is nice, but the increase in libido is a bonus. I'm fking exhausted.
