On what grounds are you saying it's dangerous advice? I haven't "advised" anyone, I've merely pointed out that it's a stable drug (as Mr ask1ngforafriend points out) & that there's no practical difference between an unused & a correctly used pen in terms of longevity if kept in the fridge. It's not like you rip the top off the pen & leave it open next to the cheese.

Eli Lilly and Company Is not my mother.
Very slightly old prescribed medication from a KwikPen that’s had 5 sterile needles inserted into it rather than 4 sterile needles is so far down the list of dangerous things I’ve put in my body over the years it’s not even worth a second thought.

I'm not a clinician and I'm guessing neither are you. MJ is a controlled drug and personally I have no intention of using it outside of the regulated instructioms that come with it. You do you of course, but on a forum where others come for advice I think we should stick to things like 'which supplier is cheapest etc' and how we are all getting on with it rather than suggesting going against regulated manufacturer guidelines.

t whether you give yourself gangrene, sepsis or anything else... and I always welcome people to get precisely the outcomes they deserve... however when you're saying on a public forum "this is the right thing to do" then you open yourself up to be challenged. You won't win the argument on who is right and who is wrong - all you are saying is you are choosing to ignore the advice. You can just walk out into the road without looking too if you like, that is your choice, but don't be telling everyone else this is how they should do it.Agreed. Let's move on now back to the general positivity of this thread.
Just to flag my comment from last time it was really hot, for anyone that missed it or any newbies, the extra heat and drinking more means we will retain more fluid so don't be disheartened if weight stays static or increases a bit this week as it will be an effective false reading.
Happened to me last time and then when cooled down the following week I had a jump down weigh in on the scales.
At least being a lot lighter now I deal a lot better with heat. I used to hate it!

Got my first 5mg jab on the way for Satuday, I was previosuly on Wegovy 0.25,0.5 and 1. The switch to Mounjaro, the 2.5mg did nothing at all.
Although it works for some, the 2.5mg was aimed to be the 'trial dose' to check for any side effects etc. With 5mg you should see some results. Good luck.Blown2CV said:

Realised that, every dose of Wegovy did something. I got some results on Wegovy so hoping for better from Mounjaro. Thought you might like to hear a little update from me as I am probably a bit further down the process to others on here.
I spent a year on Wegovy, with great results. I lost just under 4 stone, but after spending a number of the final months on the maximum dose it felt like it wasn't working anymore. So I dropped down to 1.7 for a month and then stopped it altogether. That was just over 3 months ago.
I have gained a little bit in weight since coming off it, but nothing major, just a couple of pounds.
Last week I had an updated consultancy with the online doctor as I still wanted to drop another stone and they said that after 6 weeks, you can start again on the lowest dosage. Which is great, I have just taken my 0.25 and will see how well it works a second time round.

Much easier with an insulin syringe and needle...although I don't think there IS any more in a needle now due to new design...? FWIW, i've been using 1ml 31G 6mm "Measuring Tools" (ahem) from Amazon and they work perfectly - no need to use screwdrivers and the like.

My pharmacist (Farmeci) is now asking for "A dated scale video: This must show you stepping on the scales with your face clearly visible, alongside a piece of paper displaying the current date." Are they also looking for the read out in the same video?
your phone should have a dual camera video mode. My pharmacy accepted a video shot like this.Collectingbrass said:

Did you nto fancy a few months on Mounjaor rather than Wegovy? I've switched.I spent a year on Wegovy, with great results. When the 2.4 does was no longer working, they offered me switching to Mounjaro or having triple doses of Wegovy (3 x jabs per go). I didn't really want to do either, which is why I decided to come off it.
When going back on just recently, again I had the choice of both. But Wegovy jabs are a lot easier to do.
