Wegovy Anti-chubster injection-pen things
Discussion
Weigh day and also my injection today. Down one and a half kilos. Bloods are constantly under 6, they were 16.8 a couple of months ago and feeling much better. Friends are noticing the change and I’m feeling better and more confident in myself. There will be no more breaks for any festivities, though I am still having a can ok coke as a rare treat.

First jab this morning for me too, after a week's holiday enjoying myself and not watching what I ate. Lost 0.5kg despite the ice creams and indulgence. 20k steps a day helped!
118.2kg, 33.2kg to my ideal target weight.
I boxed at light middle weight in my late teens and early 20s I was always 69.9kg. After I finished boxing and sports my weight then went to 79.9 but I was always active. Due to illness and being bed ridden I went to 90kg. My target now is 89.9. I’m 15kg away from that. I gained 22kg in the first six months of this year and my blood test results were scary, I’ll get to 89.999999 for Christmas.118.2kg, 33.2kg to my ideal target weight.
Enjoy your weekend everyone who contributes to this thread.
I'm down 7kg in the first 3 weeks of the lowest dose of Wegovy tablets. 103kg to 96kg.
No side effects whatsoever. No headaches, no indigestion, no gut issues.
It really is ridiculously easy. Get up in the morning, take tablet with a sip of water, do all the morning chores before having first coffee of the day half an hour later.
I ordered from Voy, they proposed going up a dose next month but i think i'll just stay on the 1.5mg unless the loss rate stalls. My target is 90kg so i really don't think it will take long to get there, maybe another 2 months assuming the rate slows (but doesn't stop),
I fully expect coming off the tablets may cause a bit of gain but i can live with being in the 90-95 range.
No side effects whatsoever. No headaches, no indigestion, no gut issues.

Well done, i’m now at 6 weeks and on 4mg and have gained 7lbs…No side effects whatsoever. No headaches, no indigestion, no gut issues.

It has definitely reduced my snacking cravings and biscuit intake but can still easily eat a 3 course meal. Will give 9mg ago on the next round if that doesn’t work then back to Keto.

I did Keto too a few years back and got on great...except for beer. I really, really, really missed beer
I enjoyed the keto thing and it actually felt pretty healthy - lots of fish and green veg, cheese (man i love cheese) - a dietary lifestyle i could have lived with forever apart from the beer (and whisky). Didn't miss sugar or beige carbs at all.I've just gone from 7.5mg to 10mg Mounjaro - in part because I've had a month of plateau but also because it was the 3rd from the 3-pen kit I bought last year pre-price increase (thanks again trump, you orange
). It's been in the fridge but the expiry date is the end of Sept and I don't want (and can't afford!) to waste it. Was going to part-dose (ie. 45 clicks = 7.5mg) but given the slow-down it seems like an opportune time to move up. I have a spare 7.5 in the fridge which will keep for a year as well.

Thats really good going, I also found it really easy to lose weight on MJ 2.5mg for 4 months. I lost 25kg in the 4 months and have lost another 9kg in 6 months being off it. Ive maintained at just under 79kg for the last few weeks, as im happy at the weight im at. No side effects whatsoever. No headaches, no indigestion, no gut issues.

I bookmarked your thread on the Cerbera forum, I would have loved an LS Cerbera. I was probably between 110kg and 120kg during my Cerbera owning days, would love trying to get in one now at 79kg.
All the best with the weightloss and finishing the LS project
It's been 10 days since taking my last 12.5mg MJ dose. I still feel fine. There have been the odd occasions of screaming hunger which has lasted about 10min but then faded away. The scale hasn't budged in the last couple of months (and have had no side effects).
so really don't know whether to just...
- see how it goes and go cold turkey (then re-order if i need to)
- dose down on MJ
- switch to wegovy and dose down on that.
don't have much weight to get rid of, maybe 5kg.
Not sure if I'm going mad or what, but I've noticed the hairs on my forearms look thinner than usual. It could just be from some tanning over the summer making it look different (going out in vests on the hottest days). I have no hairs on my upper arms/bicep apart from these random 4-5 hairs that are very noticeable to me, even these don't look as thick.

Anybody used New Health before, wanted to jump upto 7.5mg from 5mg Mounjaro, my current supplier was £200ish, they had a new customer deal on at £170. Did it yesterday morning, submitted the pictures etc they needed, its been sat "awaiting clinician" since, tried to contact them no response.
Jab is due on Sunday but I'm heading up north on Thursday.

Update from me;
Started Mounjaro December 2025, did 3 months on low doses, lost 2 stone, decided to go it alone.
Initially found it fairly easy to carry on losing weight, in fact I lost a further half a stone myself. Recently have plateued, managing to maintain but old habits creeping in and I can see myself slipping.
I have a further stone of blubber I'd like to lose to get to 12.5 stone - so this week I havs started on Wegovy tablets, lowest dose at 1.5mg.
So far.............actually so good - these are definitely different to the Mounjaro jabs, with the jabs I had no food noise after 3 hours of the first jab. With the Wegovy tablets I would describe it as they take the edge off the food noise just enough to put me off eating crap, but they do appear to make me feel fuller earlier even at the low dose. No real side effects to speak of so far. Very low dose though.
I think this might work for me to lose the final stone..........................I will report back with my Saturday weigh in result :-)

I’m now on the 4mg dose of the wegovy tablets. I must become getting some kind of immunity towards them as I’m almost back to how I was feeling before them. Snacking and eating a fair bit. Haven’t weighed recently as I know I’ll have put on.
Maybe I need the next level dosage up. I see it eventually gets to 25mg (which seem a lot!).
Obviously the price increases at each dosage (I’m with Voy) so getting quite costly now!

I done my final jab last week so I'm without any assistance from now. I've skipped a week before so it's not entirely new at the moment. Same as I said before, I'm still feeling full from sensible meals, didn't get tempted with subway or KFC for lunch either. See how I get on, holiday in a couple of weeks so I need to keep myself in check! Me and the mrs are going to be trying to encourage each other to be sensible but I'm sure it'll be a challenge.

Im back on MJ. Ive put on 8kg this having lost 20kg since Jan 2025. Ive still got another 30 to go...
Jabbed last night after a meal out with my partner.
Now it could be because lunch was a 500g steak (it was cheap!) Followed by pasta for dinner with garlic bread and a tub of Ben and Jerry's but I woke up this morning not thinking about food.
It got to lunch time and I still hadnt thought of food apart from thinking I havent thought about food...
Had a small lunch of some protien shakes. Not ideal but the shop didnt have anything else. Normally I'd snack on chocolate. But didnt.
It got to 7pm and realised ive not eaten. Just had two hunters chicken snd some veg and struggled!
Also went to the gym this morning. Be interested to see how.it all goes.
I'd like to be 120kg by xmas. Currently 135kg.
